*Sakura's pov*

In the morning, I woke up to get ready for school and went to have breakfast with the others. Katsuki sat next to me and I sighed before ignoring him. "Here." He said while putting some buttered toast on my plate.

"Take it back."

"No. Eat it."

"I don't want it."

"You fought a Nomu two nights ago. You should eat well."

I began growling as he annoyed me further. "Don't try to feed me!"

"Then, eat better!" He growled back.

"What's better about bread?! It's just empty carbs!"

"Then, eat more!"

"It's like shouting is their love language." Kirishima whispered to Mina, unsuccessfully.

"I heard that!" Katsuki and I yelled simultaneously.

On our way to school, Mina held my hand and pulled me towards Katsuki and Kirishima. "I have a great feeling about today." Mina smiled at Kirishima, as she leaned against me, pushing me closer to Katsuki.

"I think so too." Kirishima smiled at her, pushing Katsuki closer to me.

"Get off!" I yelled while pushing them back and walking away.

For the next few days, things were often like that. Katsuki trying to be nice and us ending up in a screaming match. Mina and Kirishima were also doing their best to make us get even angrier at each other. At school, during the hero training class, we were all getting partnered for sparring matches and after pulling out my name, they pulled out Katsuki's. "No way." He protested. "I'm not fighting her."

"Why not?" I asked. "Scared I'll beat you?"

"No! I just don't wanna hit the person I like!"

"It was never a problem before! And what happened to love?!"

"O-Kay!" Yelled All Might. "Please get into position."

We huffed as we walked into the fake city and stood on our marks. When we were given the go ahead, I threw ice attacks at him, which he skillfully dodged and blew up. I then used my fire to create a large wall and smacked him against one of the buildings. I then turned the wall on its side and sent it his way, but he jumped down and dodged it, making it just hit the building. "When will you man up and fight me back?!"

"Now!" He yelled as he leaped towards me and sent a small explosion into my face. When I opened my eyes, I made whips of fire and kept swinging them towards him. He kept dodging and I kept slicing the buildings instead. "Are you trying to kill me?!"

"I'm trying to get you to fight me, but of course you'd be running away! Like our relationship! You ran away from that too!"

"Not because I wanted to!"

"No one made you!" I screamed louder before whipping my hand back. The ground suddenly began to shake and the shadow of a building suddenly covered me.

"Sakura!" Katsuki yelled as he ran towards me. I looked up to see one of the buildings sliding towards me. It was my own fault. I kept hitting it during the battle and it was all cut up. I was suddenly tackled and I yelled as we fell to the ground. A loud crash was heard as our bodies became soaking wet. We could hear All Might yelling over the speakers and I sat up to look around. The building had collapsed, and we were being sprayed by a nearby fire-hydrant. I looked down at Katsuki as he sat up to look at me. "Are you okay?" He asked as concern riddled his face. He held my face in his hands and I burst into laughter. I looked at him again and watched him join me, so we could laugh at our stupidity together.

"I forgive you." I said before wrapping my arms around him. We held each other close until All Might approached with the other students.

"Are you two okay?!" He yelled in panic and we pulled away before getting up.

"Yea, we're okay. Katsuki forfeits."

"Wait, what?" Katsuki said while staring at me. "... Fine. I forfeit." We walked back into the surveillance room together and he held my hand as we watched the others spar. We were like that until lunch. When we got our lunches, we sat next to each other and started eating.

"Finally." Sero smiled. "You two were making me nervous."

"I'll admit that you two being together makes life easier for everyone." Mineta added. "Bakugo was five seconds away from blowing up the school."

"Yea, you said it." Kaminari said. "Sakura was five seconds away from beating everyone up. We were lucky that she had her work-study to channel in all her rage."

"Ha. Ha." I fake laughed. "I can still beat you up for talking crap about me."

"I'm not talking crap. I would never." He said sarcastically.

"Do you still have your work-study after lunch?" Kirishima asked and I nodded.

"Can we just make sure that you two aren't faking?" Mina said. "Kiss!"

"Uhm, no." I refused. "I think Katsuki and I still have a few things to talk about before we get too serious."

"What's there to talk about?" Katsuki asked. "Are we not dating again?"

"Do you really wanna talk about it in front of everyone?" He shook his head and we changed the topic before continuing to eat. When lunch was over, I went to my work-study with Mirko. The next day, I had the day off, but Katsuki went to his licensing class. Hours later, Shoto and him finally returned and he washed up before sitting on the couch with me.

"Are we gonna talk?"

I nodded and got up before dragging him to the laundry room. "I don't think we should jump back into the relationship. At least, not with the same intensity as before... I was really hurt by our breakup and I tried hating you for weeks. I no longer feel that burning passion I felt for you."

"So, you don't love me anymore?"

"I do, but it's like my heart is severely bruised. It hurt for so long, so now I need some time to let it heal. I just need to go slow again. Actually slow. Right now, I can only bring myself to hold your hand, hug you and kiss your cheek. I'm not ready for anything more, and I'm sorry if you are."

"No, don't apologize. I understand and I kinda feel the same way. I really just missed your presence and embrace more than anything. I can go slow." I smiled before hugging him and we held each other for a few minutes until we were both ready to let go.
