God damn my body hurts...

I try opening my eyes to which they feel heavy. After some time, I manage to open them and am greeted with a white room. Everything feels blurry, but at the same time I can see everything.

I try to push myself up because I realized I was laying down on a bed. Using all my strength in my arms to hold me up, I realized the white walls earlier were actually curtains.

The upper part of my body hurt like never before in my whole life, it was like I was on fire.

"U-Um... is anyone. cough. there?"

I tried calling out to somebody, to which nobody answered.

Looking around the place I was in I found I was surrounded by curtains except behind me, which held a wall. There was a bedside table on my left which had a vase with flowers, and tons of tiny notecards.

"Don't tell me I died..."

Deciding to spend some time reading the cards I open them and am shocked. Sort of.

'Please don't die Suzuki! We need you!'

'I hope you wake up soon!'

'We wish you the best!'

Yeah, so I stopped reading them. Instead looking at the white flowers my class presumably brought. I'm just going to ignore the fact that they are white, and are associated with funerals. Since, I still believe I'm alive.

I mean I can feel a pulse, I'm breathing, and I'm not blue. Since in shows, once you die you turn a light blue.

CRASH!

"S-Suzuki-kun... your awake!"

"Am I suppose to be not?"

"Now's not the time! When did you wake up? Have you tried standing up? Are you hungry?"

"Cough! Calm down Chabashira-sensei. I'd say I woke up about 20 minutes ago. My body hurts to much even just to sit. And now that you mention it, I am hungry."

"Well as your teacher, it is my responsibility to look after you. So, what would you like to eat?"

"Brownies and Sprite! By the way, how did I end up here?"

"I'll get that. But to answer your question, I do not know. Ayanokouji brought you to the faculty room while I was working, he said he found you in the alleyway."

"Wow. So why does my body hurt?"

"Well after he brought you in, me and Chie, examined your body-"

"Y-You! You looked at my naked body! Chabashira-sensei... I though you were the responsible teacher! Did Hoshinomiya-sensei control your mind or something!"

"No. We just took off your shirt. Turns out, you actually got hit pretty hard in the abdomen. If the attacker had aimed just a little bit more up, you would have died. Luckily, they missed."

"..."

"If they had aimed even a couple inches up, your lungs could've exploded. Your stomach and intestines could've been ruptured. Your liver could've been injured. Your main blood vessels could've opened, leading to you bleeding out. So yeah, you're pretty lucky."

Oh hell nah!

"W-what..."

"Well, I'll come back with your desired food. You should lay back down, if you can."
