Jayson woke up to the sound of loud knocking, still half asleep he rolled out his bed grabbing a t-shirt and walking to the door
Soon as he open the door he's met by the sunlight and someone walking in "rise and shine Craby" Brooke walked in, a dress in hand
"Brooke?" He blinks repeatedly still getting used to the light "w-what are you doing here?" He asks putting on his plain white shirt
"What do you think of this dress?" She held up the dress. It was a long purple ish silk dress with a small flower pin in the center "does it say formal?" She placed it in front of her
"Um it's pretty" he nods. If he wanted to admit it or not she would look amazing in that dress "why are you asking me?" He walks around his counter grabbing a cup and starting to make coffee
"I just wanted to get your opinion" she shrugged placing the dress on one of his chairs
"Why does my opinion matter?"
"I don't know" she shrugged once more jumping up on the counter and crossing her legs "I mean you are one of my bestfriends, my friend's opinions matter to me"
"You haven't called me your bestfriend in like...forever" he chuckles and she smiles
"Maybe I'm not as embarrassed as I was before" a smug smile scattered across her face. He shake my head grabbing his coffee about to take a sip when she took the mug from his hand "thank you, see you later"
"Of course" he sighs and she walked out the apartment with his mug

"So check it out" Nathan, Lucas and Jayson walk into the store. They were looking for tuxes for the formal tonight "I got tipped off. Haley is gonna get crowned queen tonight" Nathan announced
"Wow that's great" Lucas smiles as they start looking at the tuxes in front of them "does she know?"
"No, I've totally been acting like I don't even wanna go. I've actually got a pretty incredible night lined up for her thought"
Lucas and Jayson chuckle "Haley, queen of the formal" Jayson says still looking around "now that's hard to believe considering last year's formal we spent playing miniature golf and making fun of the whole thing"
"And now I'm hanging out with you losers" Nathan shakes his head causing the two other boys to jokingly give him a death stare
"So Jay" Lucas put his arm around him "who you planing to bring to the formal?" He asks with an amused smile
"No one" Jayson pushes his arm away "I mean I was planning on asking Peyton so she wouldn't be going alone" he sees Nathan and Lucas glance at each other "as friends"
"Isn't she going with Brooke?" Nathan asked holding up a tux
"Yeah but it's obvious Brooke and Felix are going to end up spending all night together, I don't want her to get left alone"
