Haley had decided to leave for the tour with Chris Keller and since then Nathan has been a mess, missing classes, drinking and just rotting in his apartment
Jayson on the other hand felt bad for ending the last night with her like he did, he thought he could have been less hard on her. But he was also sad that she hadn't called him since she left, not even a message
He's tried calling her, leaving messages, emails and still hasn't gotten anything back
Lucas and Jayson knocked on Nathan's door to check up on him before heading to school. The door opened and Nathan stood there looking as if he hadn't showered in days
"Dude...you look like ass" Lucas said leaning on the doorway
"You should smell me" Nathan chuckled
Jayson rolled his eyes before speaking "we haven't seen you around school lately, just checking in" he shrugged
"I'm fine" he says not sounding too sure of himself
"Mind if we come in?" Lucas asked
"Actually, um...now it's not really a-a good, good time" he shook his head
Lucas nods slowly "I'm really missing Haley, she didn't even bother to call me but it must be harder for you"
"Yeah" Nathan sighed "it's 12 weeks, I'll be fine, we'll, uh, we'll work it out when she gets back"
"We're just concerned Nate" Jayson softly says
"Yeah well don't be" Nathan slams the door. Lucas and Jayson give each other a look before turning around and leaving

"Hey Jay" Brooke walked up to Jayson's locker. He closed his locker turning to her and leaning on it
"Hi Brooke" he smiled down at her "how's the election going?"
"This bitch Eric is getting on my last nerve" she rolled her eyes "she just won't give up, I'm trying so hard to not slap her in the face"
Jayson chuckles shaking his head "she's just trying to get you heated up because she knows you have more chances to win then she does"
"She's been president for the last 3 years" she complained "what's going to stop her from winning again?"
"You" he pointed at her "the only reason she's won so many times is because she didn't have to go against the Brooke Penelope Davis"
She smiled before her smile dropped "how do you know my middle name?"
"You told me your middle name when we were 8" he laughed
"And you remembered?" She raised her eyebrows truly surprised
