Chapter 5: The curse of Dio

It was a lovely morning and you had just woken up in Jotaro's home. You grabbed your bag and went to the nearest bathroom, getting ready for school. You walked to the front door where you saw Jotaro waiting.

"Sorry to keep you waiting" You said as you yawned.

"Nah.. it's fine. Alright time for school. I'm actually gonna go... somethings weird.." He noticed

"Yeah... I feel it too..." You two looked at eachother and started walking to the kitchen side by side. 

When you got there, you saw the worst had happened. Holly had obtained a stand! You saw Joseph fill with anger and, Jotaro scowl. 

"NOOOOO!!!!" Joseph screamed as he took Jotaro by the collar and slammed him against the cabinet. You were still looking at Holly in shock. She might die!

This is the one thing everyone feared the most. The last thing anyone wanted to happen. Jotaro grabbed Josephs arm

"Tell me, what can we do!" He said. You could tell, he was angry, sad, and had just a bunch of mixed negative emotions. 

"Okay... to start we must find Dio. The only way to break this curse is to find Dio and kill him!"

You all stood there in shock. Finally you spoke up. 

"Mr. Jostar." You looked towards him. "Why don't you finish getting ready for the day and meet us in one of the spare rooms. and Jotaro," You grabbed his hand, "I'll brew us some tea and make some food to ease the tension a bit and clear our minds. This is the last thing anyone wanted to happen but we need to think straight to get out of this mess." 

"Diane has a point." Avdol said. "Let's all go clear our minds." 

Later: 

"In every photo I take of Dio, the background is always black. we can't find him through my spirit photos" Joseph said

"You should've told me this earlier. I might be able to find out what's hiding in this darkness. My stand has found something in the shadows. Let's have it sketch what it sees." Jotaro retorted

You all watched in suspense as Jotaro's stand sketched a fly. But how would that help.

"Wait... I've seen this fly before.. Do you have an encyclopedia?" Avdol said.

"We do have a library a couple doors down." Jotaro responded

"Let me have the sketch. I'll do some research!" Avdol ran away off to the library

The remaining few of us heard Holly wake up. "Jotaro, Diane, go get some medicine and water!" Joseph said. You turned around and made your way to the kitchen.

The air was tense all around.

 You turned to Jotaro. "Hey, if you need to talk..." 

"I appreciate it Diane. Why don't you run to the bathroom to the left. There's some painkillers in the cabinet."

"I gottcha" You rushed to get the medicine and rushed back with Jotaro to Holly. Joseph was taking care of her. She sat up.

"So Jotaro, Diane, what would you like for dinner?" Holly asked

"Don't move just stay right there!" Jotaro yelled. You were also on edge. You didn't want her to get up and work herself that hard. "...I just meant that you should stay put. At least until your fever breaks. Just get better." He said, tugging his hat in front of his face. He turned away and you turned with him.

"You did the right thing by yelling." You tried to comfort him the best you could.

Holly started "I kinda like this, everyone's so nice when I get sick. Having a little cold isn't so bad from time to ti--" She lost consciousness again. You saw Jotaro turn his head in shock and worry, you did so too. You looked at Jotaro and felt horrible. Holly didn't want us to worry about her and Jotaro doesn't want you to worry about him either. Well that wasn't going to happen. You took his hand and gave him a kind look. One that he couldn't ignore. He squeezed your hand.
