------Year x690, the end of the Second Trade War. The number of those injured and the death count where ten times higher than the first war. It was said that the reason behind this was wizard guild interventions.

With the war over, the Magic Council passes the Interguild Dispute Interdiction Treaty, forbidding all and every guild from waging wars against one or another, for whatever reason, marking a beginning of a short era of peace.

During that time, our friend Yuri Dreyar got married to his lover Rita with me as a bestman and Mavis as a bridesmaid. Everyone of us from the guild celebrated and congratulates them, wishing him and Rita happiness.

And six years later, x696.

I was riding on a motorcycle with Mavis as my back ride, holding onto me.

"Haru, you suddenly invited me on a ride. Where are we going?" Mavis curiously asked.

"I'm going to meet the long time friend of mine and you already know him."

"Whom are you talking to?"

"The Black Wizard."

"Oh, him? I haven't thank him enough for teaching us magic. I want to meet him again."

Now, I remember... Mavis and Zeref supposed to become lovers. I still don't know how they felt for each other but I guess, I should just simply ask Mavis.

"Mavis..."

"What is it, Haru?"

"What do you think about the Black Wizard?"

"Mr. Black Wizard? Hmmm... I think... he's a sincere guy. He was kind enough to teach us magic despite of his condition. He might always has a solemn expression but he's actually a very kind person. Compared to you, he's not a jerk."

"Fufufu~" she giggled.

"Then, Mavis... are you interested in him?"

"Do you like a guy like him?"

Mavis became silent.

I guess she became embarrassed after I asked her that. It might be still too early for her.

She pinched me hard on both of my sides as my arms swayed a little while driving.

"Hey! What's that for?!"

I tried to focus myself before we hit something on the way.

I already had this bad feeling and it's already inevitable.

She became angry at me.
