The Battle of Cato Neimoidia

Secret Passage and Secret Missions

Carnage all around! The battle over Cato Neimodia continues to rage! As casualties continue to rise, Jedi Generals Kit Fisto and Sollabe led their forces in a direct assault on Nute Gunray's citadel. While Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Tora try to infiltrate the base to capture Gunray and end this battle.

Obi-Wan, Anakin, Tora, Rex, Cody, Jesse, Boil, Kix, Trapper, sixteen 501st Clones, and sixteen 212th Clones were going through the fungus farms. As they did, Obi-Wan said, "Remember everyone, move carefully through here. These fungus have spores with hullcigenic attributes within them, which can mess up your senses for a time if you inhale them."

Anakin told him, "We know. Don't disturb the wildlife." Just then, they heard blaster fire, "Looks like someone isn't taking our advance." Readying their Lightsabers and blasters, the group rushed through the plants to the source. Coming out of the farm they saw, in front of a cave entrance, the four Clone Commandos of Delta Squad; Boss, Scorch, Fixer, and Sev, had engaged Separatist forces. The ground was already littered with the dead bodies of Droids and Neimodian Guards. Scorch rapidly shot at a B2, killing it. At the same time, Fixer had grabbed a Neimodian into a chokehold with his arms and killed them by snapping their neck. Over by another pair of Neimodians, Sev had just stabbed one in the chest with his Knuckle Plate Vibro Blade, built into his armor's left hand. He pulled his hand out and retracted the Vibro Blade into the hand, as the Neimodian fell dead to the ground. Turning to the other Neimodian, who was wielding a Force Pyke, Ssev charged in at them. The Neimodian tried to stab him in the head with his Pyke, but Sev ducked down to dodge and kept charging, slamming his left shoulder into the Neimodians gut to knock them to the ground. He followed his up by using his blaster to reaptingly shoot the Neimodian in the chest and head to kill them. Lastly, Boss had just sliced a B2 in half between the gut and legs. After the Droid fell to the ground, he turned to his right to face the last two remaining Separatist troops; a B1 and a Neimodian. Both fired at Boss, only for his armors low sheilds to tank the shots. Boss then returned fire with his blaster, gunning both the Droid and the Neimodian down. However, the B2's upper half behind him was still alive, and it grabbed Boss's left leg with its left arm. Boss kicked it off, bent down, and then activated the Knuckle Plate Vibro Blade in his left arm to stab the Droid in the head. When the Blade was pulled out, the Droid sparked before shutting down.

Boss turned to his three fellow Commandos and said, "Good job, Deltas."

Sev laughed, "That was fun."

The group turned to see the others who had arrived, with Fixer saying, "Heads up. Superiors are here." Heading over to the group, the four Commandos saluted the three Jedi, Cody, and Rex, while all saying, "Sirs."

Then Scorch stated, "We have secured the entryway."

Obi-Wan told them, "Good job."

Tora then asked, "And you're sure this leads into the heart of Gunray's citadel?"

Boss nodded, "Yes. It cuts right through the grub hatcheries underneath connected to the building."

This time Anakin asked, "How did you find this out?"

Scorch answered, "Because we have a mission to do down there after we help you."

Rex questioned, "What mission?"

Sev nonchalantly stated, "You'll see. Let's just get moving."

The group made their way through the cave.

While this happened, at the front entryway to the citadel, the battle ragged. Many dead Clones, Droids, and Neimodians lay over the ground, as did some Tank Droids and two of the Republic's Heavy Artillary Walkers. The remaining six Heavry Artillary Walkers kept firing, obliteraing some more Tank Droids and B1s, while also hitting the Ray Sheild around the citadel, which withstood the blasts. Kit Fisto and Sollabe stood back to back, deflecting shots with their Lightsabers. Both of them killed two B1s with those deflected shots. Nearby the two Jedi were Appo and Deviss, firing at the Separatist forces, while the Jedi gave them cover. Deviss shot down a B2, while Appo killed a Neimodian Guard with a head shot. In another area, a 501st Clone had just shot a B1 in the chest, causing it to stagger back. Then a B2 came up behind the B1, used its right arm to knock the B1 out of the way, then opened fire at the Clone, hitting them multiple times in the chest, killing him. After the Clone fell, Vaughn rushed forward and rapidly shot the B2, killing it and avenging his comrade. He followed that up by turning to his left and shooting a B1's head off. Over with some other Clones, they were firing at a Tank Droid. Unfortuantly, the Tank withstood the shots and then fired at them, blowing up five Clones, with the explosion itself knocking another two Clones; a 501st and a 212th, to the ground and injuring them. Luckily, Kit and Sollabe both used their left hands to use the Force to lift the two injuried Clones up and bring them over to them, where Clones medics began to treat them. Deviss then shouted to two regular Clones with rocket launchers, "Move it, Troopers! On the double!" Both Clones rushed forward and aimed their launchers at the Tank Droid, "Fire!" They both fired their rockets, which nailed the Droid, causing it to explode. Some of the debris from the explosion even crushed a B2 and a pair of B1s.
