The Battle of Cato Neimoidia

Escalation! As the Clone Wars rage on every planet in the galaxy, Republic forces continue to press against the evil Separatist forces, pushing them back more and more in the Outer Rim Sieges! However, the Separatists aren't giving up without a fight. Republic forces fight tooth and nail for every inch. As is the case here on Cato Neimodian, with Republic forces led by Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Kit Fisto, Sollabe, and Tora are attempting to take Nute Gunray's stronghold and capture the Viceroy himself.

At Nute Gunray's citadel, in the command room, the Tactical Droid reported to Sentepeth Findos, "Lieutenant, the Republic forces outside continue to press their attack. Our shields are holding, but we're running out of available troops."

Sentepeth shouted, "Then we need more! At least tell me the evacuation is done."

The Droid nodded, "Sorry, sir. The Viceroy is heading to his personal room to get the last of his treasure and his Mechno-Chair."

Sentepeth threw up his hands, "That room is on the other side of the building! We don't have time to waste like this!"

Just then, Sentepeth's Protocol Droid walked into the room, through the sliding door, and began to say, "We may have even less time sir. Our forces report some Jedi and Clones have infiltrated the base and are making their way to us."

Eyes widening in fear, Sentepeth said, "WHAT!? We have to speed up the evacuation and we need reinforcements! Send all remaining Droids in the citadel to find and eliminate the intruders." The Protocol Droid nodded and went over to a computer console to do that. Sentepeth then turned to the Tactical Droid, "Contact Captain Mar Tuuk and see if he can send some air support." The Tactical Droid nodded and went over to a different console to do that.

In the upper atmosphere of the planet, the aerial battle was still going on, with the two Venators and the last Lucrehulk fired at each other, while both Republic and Separatist fighters were flying and firing at each other all around them. Onboard the bridge of the Lucrehulk, the Neimodian Captain Mar Tuuk sat in his command chair, overlooking the battle out the windows. Then one of the B1s manning one of the nearby control consoles told him, "Sir, we are receiving a transmission from the citadel."

Getting up from his chair, Mar Tuuk turned to the giant transparent screen behind him, as the image of the Tactical Droid appeared on screen, stating, "Captain Mar Tuuk, Lieutenant Findos requires aerial support."

Mar Tuuk rubbed his chin and replied, "We are a little preoccupied up here at the moment."

"Well, see what you can do. The Lieutenant is not happy right now." The screen went blank after the Droid finished.

Just outside the citadel, another battle raged, with a pair of Tank Droids firing at a Heavy Artillery Tank, blasting its right half off and causing the rest of the destroyed Republic vehicle to tip over. After that another two Heavy Artillery Tanks started unloading blasts at the Tank Droids, destroying them, then firing at some Droids and Neimodians, annihilating them too. Following that, three Clones; two regulars and one 212th, charged in at three Neimodian Guards and fired at them. The Neimodians returned fire, gunning down one of the regular Clones before the other two shot all three of them dead. A pair of 212th Clones were then blasted away by a Tank Droid before a 501st Clone with a rocket launcher took the Tank Droid out. At the same time, Vaughn was helping an injured 212th Clone to get behind some cover, both firing their blasts as they went and taking down a B1. A regular Clone with a Gatling gun was covering them from behind and mowed down three B2s. Overby the Jedi, Kit, and Sollabe, were deflecting shots while charging at the Droids. Eventually, they both reached a B2 and sliced them; Kit sliced his down vertically from the right shoulder to the left leg, while Sollabe sliced her in half at the waist. Turning to his right, Kit stabbed another incoming B2 in the head, killing it. At the same time, Sollabe used her free right hand to grab the two halves of the B2 and threw them into a pair of B1s. The Jedi were soon joined by Deviss and the other five Clones wielding the stolen Personal Energy Shields, who used their Sheilds to block enemy fire, before returning fire, taking down several B1s and a Neimodian. After that, the doors to the citadel opened with several dozen Droidekas rolling out. Uncoiling from ball form and deploying their Energy Sheilds, the Droids started firing wildly at the Republic forces, quickly gunning down three Clones. Kit then yelled, "Fall back!" The Clones began to take cover behind buildings and rubble, with one regular Clone getting shot in the back before he reached cover. Kit and Sollabe were deflecting the Droideka fire back, while Deviss and the Clones with the Shields used them to block the fire and return fire. However, the Droideka's Shields absorbed all of the Clones and redirected fire, so they could keep attacking.
