The Battle of Cato Neimoidia

Fleeing Neimoidians

Infiltration! In an attempt to finally end the siege of Cato Neimodia, and capture one of the led figures of the Separatists, Nute Gunray, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker have broken into the Viceroy's citadel. Splitting up, Obi-Wan and his team have gone after the Viceroy himself, while Anakin leads the 501st in an attempt to destroy the citadel's shield generator so that their forces outside can besiege the citadel itself.

In the shield generator control room, inside Nute Gunray's citadel, Anakin and his team of 501st Clones were battling Separatist forces; two Neimodian Guards welding Force Pykes, eight B1s, three B2s, and three Commando Droids. The floor had a few dead Droids and one dead 501st Clone on it. Anakin raised his Lightsaber up horizontally, as the Neimodian Guards came from both his sides and swung their Force Pykes at him. Upon coming into contact with the Lightsaber, the Force Pyke tops were sliced off. Anakin smirked, before turning to the Neimodian on his left and stabbing him in the chest. He then pulled his saber out of the Neimodian and slashed the other one on his right three times in the chest. After both fell dead to the ground, a B1 came up from behind and fired at the young Jedi Knight. Without even turning around, Anakin swung his right mechanical hand, which held his saber, over his shoulder and behind his back, so his saber deflected the shot back into the B1s chest. A Pair of Commandos then rushed at him and fired. Bring his saber back over, in a swerving motion, he began to deflect their shots. He then used the Force with his left hand to Force Push one of the Commandos away and into the wall, destroying it. The other Commando kept firing and charging. Anakin blocked the shots. When the Commando got close to him, he tried to slash at its chest, only for the Droid to bend backward to dodge. The Commando came back up and fired again. Luckily, Anakin blocked and then sliced off the front of the Droid's blaster, before cutting the Commando down with a vertical slash down from the Droid's right shoulder. At the same time, six 501st Clones gunned down four B1s and a B2. Kix shot another B1 in the head, before tossing a grenade at a B2, which stuck to the Droid's chest before it exploded and blew the Droid to bits. Jesse started firing at the last Commando Droid, as it charged at him. He managed to blast the Commando's blaster out of its hands. However, the Droid jumped up and pulled out their sword, attempting to stab the Arc Trooper in the head as they came down. Fortunately, Jesse rolled forward, causing the Droid to slash the ground with their sword. Now behind the Droid, Jesse quickly got the Droid in the chock hold as it got up and then cracked its neck to the right to kill it. Jesse then got down on one knee to dodge a shot that a B1 fired at his head. The Arc Trooper returned fire, killing the B1 with a few shots to the chest. After that, Rex shot down the last B1 and B2. With all the Separatist forces in the room now dead, Rex turned to Jesse and Kix, and said, "Boys, it's time to take the shield down."

The other two Clones nodded, "Right." All three of them pulled out grenades and tossed them at the shield generator, which soon exploded, turning the generator into scrap.

Just outside the citadel, its shields went down, causing a B1 Commander Droid to say, "Uh oh. That's not good."

Seeing the shield down, Kit charged out and shouted, "Now's our chance! Forward!" Deviss, Vaughn, Appo, and the rest of the Clones followed Kit into battle. The Clones shot down several Battle Droids and Neimodian Guards, but as they charged two 212th Clones got shot down as well. Kit managed to slash a B1 down with a vertical slash down from the Droid's left shoulder. He then spun towards a Neimodian Guard, dodging their shots, before slashing them in the chest when he got close. Following this, the Heavy Artillery Tanks start firing at the Separatists, blowing up Droids, Neimodian Guards, Droid Tanks, and damaging part of the now shieldless citadel.

Back inside said citadel, in the shield generator room, Anakin turned to Rex, Jesse, and Kix, deactivated his saber, and told them, "Good job, boys."

Rex replied, "Thanks, General."
