Chapter 12

It was 10pm and Riku went home smelling of alcohol "where have you been?" Wing turned up from behind her and had a serious look on his face "I-I was just um... Out"Riku said but wasn't thinking straight as she was drunk "come on let me help you" he said. He picked Riku up and went upstairs to her bed he then tucked her up and was about to leave her "nooo don't leave me, stay s-stay with me tonight" she said while her eyes was closing, he looked at her and smiled "sure, I will stay with you" he said joyfully. He jumped in bed with her and he made her snuggle up to him "goodnight Riku" he said gently and kissed her on her cheek "I love you" he whispered not letting Riku know what he said but she passed out then Wing fell asleep.

Following morning Riku got up late and had a massive headache. Wing wasn't with her and was a bit lonely, she fell back asleep and noticed it was Monday "ugh, school" she whinned. She got up and got dressed, she was super late like 5 hours late so she thought "skipping one day won't hurt" and climbed back into bed. Few hours passed and her door bell rang, she got out of bed and answered it was Li smiling at her "you was crazy last night Riku" he said while closing the door behind him "yeah im never doing that again, my inner self feels like its dying slowly" she said while holding her stomach. Li hugged her and picked her weak body up and took her to bed, "I don't have plans today so I'm staying with you okay" he said Riku gave him a sleepy smile and dozed off. It was dark and Riku was still in bed breathing faster and faster sweating badly, Li stayed with her and texted his mother that he will be home tomorrow.

Wing was watching the guardian butterflies hatching in their big cocoons, "Wiiiiing" and echo whisper came from behind him he looked around "Riku?" He called, "she's dyyyyying, run to her Wiiiiiiiing" a whisper echoed away and Wing ran to fast to get to Riku. He burst through her door and ran upstairs to her room, he saw her dying body laying there sweating and panicking. Riku still had her eye's closed and was struggling breathing "what are you doing here?" Li said, Wing had no choice "come with me I will carry Riku to her land but right now we need to go" he said forcefully Li nodded and let Wing pick her up.

They reached the land Li was amazed how beautiful this was, he looked up and saw huge wings coming out of a big cocoon "what are they?" Li pointed out, Wing looked at him "help me here I will explain everything to you" he said, Li ran over to him and he gently rested Riku in the water. The water magically went in her mouth taking out all the bad things she drank, Riku woke up coughing and the water came out of her mouth and blended back with the running water. Riku stared at them two in shock "you both know each other?" She asked they both nodded and smiled that she was alive "I'm a try to get to know him though" Wing said, he explained the land to Li and that it's very secret While Riku was watching the guardians hatch.
