Li called for Riku and her door opened a little it was Wing, Li's eye's widened and his mouth dropped open "who are you?" Wing said, Li blinked and said "I'm Riku's friend from school is she there?" Wing gave him a serious look like he was jealous of him. Riku opened the door wider and was ready for school "I'm ready and Wing look after yourself" she said Wing was smiling and was a bit jealous seeing Riku hanging around with Li, he watched her disappear behind the bushes and he looked sad not spending so much time with her.
Wing left the cottage and went to the forest, he looked back at the cottage and a black figure was there staring down at him from one of the bedroom windows, Wing knew it was Riku's mother and he ran of in great speed reaching to the secret land. He reached the land and it hasn't been touched, the guardian butterflies haven't opened yet but it was closer to summer if they won't open there will be no protection for this place. Wing watched all the hatched ones fluttering around him, his inner butterfly rested on his shoulder and slowly flutter it's wings on Wing's face "good morning" he said, and the butterfly flew off in the tree shadows.
During art class Li was making a sculpture and the girl's was in his class laughing at him, Li couldn't take it anymore and snapped "WHAT ARE YOU REALLY LAUGHING AT MEGAMI?" he shouted, and she laughed "your really rubbish at this" she said sniggering at him Li grabbed his stuff and stormed out of class. He went to the roof top it's his calm place, a butterfly landed on his hand and he looked at it with a smile. It was a bluey purple one he was about to squash it "STOP!" Riku shouted Li stopped and looked at her in fear "it's just a butterfly" he said,
"Give it here" her eyes widened and she ran to him dropping her bag on the floor "this is my butterfly" a huge smile appeared in her face and a tear dropped from her eye "you found it Li thank you" she said, Li was confused "it's just a butterfly" he said
"Not just any butterfly give me it please?" She asked, he gave it to her and nothing happened not even wings, "huh" she seemed upset "this shouldn't happen" she said, he looked at her like she was insane "what was suppose to happen?" He asked, her smile went and she fell on her knees "I was suppose to have my own wings" she said Li started to laugh "for holding a butterfly" he said.
She ignore him and was very upset not having her own wings "I guess it's a wrong butterfly", Li hugged her as his hand was on her back he felt something soft poking out from her back "huh what's this?" He said Riku was to sad to listen, he walked around her to look at her back "oh my RIKU YOU HAVE WINGS" he shouted in excitement, Riku startled and stood up "I have wings?" She asked,
"Yeah look" he got out his phone and took a picture of them and showed her the wing's was all blue and the middle of it was see through blue "oh my gosh" she said with shock also in fear like how is she going to get into classes without people seeing them. She let the butterfly free and her wings disappeared into her back "so if that butterfly lands on you, your wings will appear?" Li asked
"I don't know" she said, She remembered Wing when he was flying he had no butterfly on him.
