Benito's P.O.V.
I heard them talking about three girls and why is there someone that looks like they could be my twin? I hope they didn't get Nicole, My Sister, Or Kimberly. My sister, she cannot find out about any of this. I was protecting her so that our parents wouldn't send her with me. I started hunting for other creatures at her age. As I got older I had to fight them and kill them or I was afraid because they threaten that something bad will happen.
Girl: Could you please shut up? I look at her. Girl: Yeah you. You might be new and really cute but I would like some sleep before they wake me up and I have to answer their stupid questions again. Benito: I-I never said anything. Girl: I can read minds sometimes. Not all the time and right now we are in a small room so I can read yours easily and you just have got to go with the flow. I've seen them release people before. Maybe they will release you. They keep me as a second weapon. Be careful and do not sleep heavily. "So if I do what they want, they let me go?" The girl shrugs and says, "Maybe." "Okay thanks. I'll try to let you sleep but if we can talk again I would like to." Girl: You have a lot of questions. I can't let you try to keep an empty mind. It's hard unless it's something happy. People think about a lot of things. So think happy and I should be awake in about an hour or two. I nod and look back out the little slot in the door. Girl: Oh and do not get caught doing that or they will block it off. I move away and sit in the corner. Happy things.
Happy things like, me getting out of here and away. Getting my sister and protecting her until she grows up and finishes off her life however she wants. Me finding Nicole again and telling her how I really feel. I have to tell her as soon as I get the chance because now I realize that things can happen and be life changing. I may never see them again. Girl: Okay. This obviously is not working so put these in and I will put some in and then you can think away. I wish you had some music. It would be so much simpler. "Sorry. Wait you heard everything in my head?" She looks at me and turns around then lays down again.
I start pacing the floor. She turns around again. Girl: Okay. Obviously I cannot get any sleep until we talk. You need to calm down. "I cannot be trapped in here. I just can't." She walks to me, looks at me and then slaps me. I touch my face and look at her. "Ow! Why did you do that?" Girl: Because you need to snap out of it! Nothing is happening yet. You never know they could give it to you easy. These people are tough but not all the time they are mean. Someone comes in and she sits down.
"We need you. Benito," he says. I look at the girl and she keeps her eyes on the boy. We go into a room that is empty. There is a chair and a bed just like the other room I was in. "I.." He stops me and my dad walks in. "Dad? What is going on? You kidnapped me? Are you serious?" Dad: Calm down. We have someone for you. But your job is to keep her close. Ask her to marry you. She will be on our side and the angels will be defeated. That way we rule with the other creatures. We are the powerful ones. "What? Why? We are too young for.." He folds his arms. "Okay. Um.. Give me a day and let us go." Dad: We have eyes on all of you. Now including her friend. So do not take me as a joke when I say or else. I nod and sit in the chair. Dad: Bring her in. We will release you in a few minutes. You get to your sister so that she does not find out where we are.
They throw Nicole into the room. She lays on the ground for a few minutes and then opens her eyes and gets up. "Nicole." She looks at me and backs away. Nicole: Stay away from me. Benito: It's really me. Nicole: No. Benito: Your necklace. I gave you. I'm telling you the truth. Nicole goes to the door. Benito: Don't they are letting us go. Do not ruin it. Nicole: How could you? Benito: How could I what? Nicole opens the door.
Everyone stops and looks at her. She closes the door. She sits in the corner. Nicole: I saw him. But that doesn't mean anything. I don't believe you or him. She looks at me. Nicole: I didn't think the door would open and it did. If we are getting out of here. Leave me alone. Leave my friends alone and leave your sister alone. I will get help and take care of her. She is much more safe with me. "No she is not. They will take you all and leave me. I have to do some things. Listen when we get out pretend to say yes and I... Crap. Never mind." Nicole: Say yes to what? Benito: Nothing.
