Clubbing

Author's POV:

"Maa, let me help you in the kitchen" said Avni following Anjali to the kitchen.

"But why do you want to help me in the kitchen??" asked Avni sensing something off with her today. Since morning she has been behaving like this, following her everywhere she is going, not letting her do any house chore she never behaved like this before.

"Umm.. because I am free today, I don't have any work it's my day off" said Avni looking everywhere in the kitchen.

"Okay, now tell me what it is??" asked Anjali getting straight to the point.

"No maa, it's...." "Just say it out" Anjali cut her off.

"Maa, actually my company got a big contract this time and we wanted to celebrate but Esha insisted on going clubbing I denied her but she is being stubborn so.. I wanted to ask you if I can go or not?" said Avni in one go and looked at Anjali for a response.

"I would say no if next time you came to ask for permission" said Anjali looking at Avni's confused face.

"Avni, just because you married Aayansh that doesn't mean you are different from Vani and Shreya for us" said Anjali patting Avni's shoulder.

"Maa I know but I thought I should still ask you" said Avni trying to justify her point.

"Next time you don't need to ask for permission else I will say no" said Anjali and started chopping vegetables.

"I can help you to choose the dress" Anjali and Avni followed the familiar voice and found Ankita standing outside the kitchen.

"Yes Avni you should ask Ankita to choose your dress her dressing sense is way too good she always choose Vani and Shreya's dresses" said Anjali with a smile.

"Okay, thank you maa and chachi" said Avni and hugged them both.

"This one is perfect for the party" said Ankita taking out the hundredth dress from Avni's closet.

"Wear this one it's final" Ankita said and passed the dress to Avni.

"There are so many dresses that I literally forgot about this dress" said Avni holding the dress in her hand.

"You go and get ready I am going downstairs" said Ankita and walked out of the closet.

Avni looked at her wrist watch and saw it was already 4:30 and she has to pick Esha as well, she walks inside the bathroom and gets ready.

She walked out of the bathroom and went to her vanity. She wore her wrist watch and did minimal make-up.

Avni walked down to the hall and saw Anjali, Ankita and kids sitting. She walked towards them.

"Woow bhabhi, you are looking stunning" said Vani looking at Vani.

"No actually like an angel" said Shreya

"Agar bhaiya abhi dekh le aapko toh khud ko hi bhul jayenge wo" said Varun and earned a smack on the back of his head from Aditya.

(If bhai sees you now, he will forget himself)

"What??" questioned Varun looking at Aditya and rubbing his head.

"Maybe she is going out with bhai" said Aditya ignoring Varun.
