Author's POV:

"Aayansh....why??" Murmered Avni in her sleep.

Not paying attention to her words Aayansh settled her on bed and covered her with quilt.

"Why did you threw the flower I gave you Aayansh???" asked Avni pulling him by the collar of his shirt.

"Avni, please calm down" said Aayansh trying to calm down Avni avoiding the scratches on his throat.

"No Aayansh, No!!!! You threw that flower not only that flower but my feelings, me and everything. Tell me, tell me today why do you hate me this much?? Did I commit a crime by marrying you???" Avni left the collar of his shirt and fell on the bed.

"I am sorry Avni, I never realised how my behaviour would hurt you this much. Is it because of me, that you drank this much" said Aayansh and covered her with quilt and went inside the closet.

Aayansh changed into his night suit and went inside the bathroom. He filled a small tub with water and took a towel. Coming back to Avni he sat beside her on the flower and slowly rubbed the wet towel on her face to clean her make up.

After cleaning her makeup Aayansh went to sleep on the couch.

"My head, oh God!!" Avni whined in pain.

"Here, drink this. You will feel better" said Aayansh forwarding a glass of lemon water.

Avni gulped down the whole glass of water in one go.

"Now tell me why you drank this much yesterday??" asked Aayansh keeping the glass on the side table.

"I drank?????" asked actually shouted Avni.

"Yes" said Aayansh looking at her amused face.

"Not possible, I never drank in my whole life" said Avni not believing her husband.

"Well you did yesterday so now you can say I just drank once in my whole life" Aayansh tried to joke around but it Avni's expression made him speechless.

"Listen Aayansh, trust me I never drank before and I clearly remember drinking Orange juice and I don't remember anything after that. Aayansh trust me I only drank Orange juice. You can ask Esha or Kartik I never drank before" said Avni without taking a pause thinking he would misunderstand her.

"Okay okay, calm down and ya I trust you" said Aayansh trying to calm her down.

"Anyways what is the time right now??" asked Avni finding her phone.

"Well, it's 5 past 11 O'clock" said Aayansh handing over her phone to her.

"What????" screamed Avni realising how late she was.

She gets up and run inside the bathroom and after 20 minutes she comes out all ready to go to office.

"Where are you going??" asked Aayansh looking at her all dressed.

"Aayansh I know it was careless of me to get drunk but that doesn't mean I will not go to work today" said Avni applying vermilion on her hairline.

"Well I didn't knew you were this workaholic to go to work on Sunday" said Aayansh trying his best to not sound sarcastic.

"It's Sunday today??" asked Avni turning around in embarrassment.

"So why do you think I am still at home in these clothes??" questioned back Aayansh.

"Okay, but still I have some work to do" said Avni in determined voice.

"Where are you going?? asked Aayansh looking at her through the mirror.
