*I open my eyes.*
(It's still dark it must be early. This happens often. I awake early before others, I use it to get ready of course I don't leave till light that could be deadly to women)
*I get ready my dress isn't the nicest.* (as I was older so my parents decided I didn't need much.)
*I can see the start of light show though the shutters*
"Mother will awake soon"*I whispered to myself, as I start my morning chores*
(Mother doesn't seem to take a liking on me as I once overheard her say
'I am not pretty enough to be sold to anyone'
I don't mind it much I know she means well...most of the time)
*I turned as I heard someone walk on the dirt behind me*
"Have you started your morning chores?"*Said my mother*
"Yes, I am almost finished."*I had replied*
"When your done get your things ready."*She said starting to walk away*
"Ready for what? Mother?"*I questioned*(why should I have my things ready?)
"Did your father not tell you? Your leaving for the palace"*My mother said. My body felt colder then it already did, my face already showed little emotion. This didn't help*
*I finnished my chores, then left to me room to get my things*
(Why? Are we...Are they poor?... Did I do something?....Did I? Do nothing?)
*There was a clatter in the kitchen, I rushed with my bag assuming it was the Royal guards. I instead was met with my siblings embrace*
"We don't want you to go!"*They said in sync*
"She hasn't a choice."*My father said with food in front of him, and a fork in his hand*
"Now children won't you eat?"*My mother said plating the table*
"But we must spend every second with Y/N Mother!"*Said my brother in a pleading voice*
"I told you they wouldn't like it"* Said my father annoyed*
"Well it wasn't my first idea to sell my children for money!"*My mother was clearly upset*
"Stop fighting...It's the least you could do in my leaving"*I said hugging my sister and brother tightly*
*Mother looked at me with annoyance, then left to her room*
"Don't spoil to much in your found riches."*I say to my siblings before releasing my hug*
"We won't sister!"*they replied*
"You'd better not! Or I'll hunt you like the monsters under your bed and I'll..."*I then I picked them up and spined around*
Eat you! *I slightly yelled, then gently placed them down*
"Do you have to leave?"*said my sister*
"I don't wanna find out what happens if I dont"*I said unsure*
"They would kill me and your mother if you didn't"*Said father*
"Why!"*my bother yelled*
"Why did you have to sell her!"*My sister finnished*
*father slammed his hand on the table*"We needed the money! This...This was the only way."*he left the room*
*There was a sudden knock at the door, I walked over and opened it to be greeted by the Royal guards two of them.*
"Are you Y/N L/N?"*spoke one guard*
"Yes? I am she"
"You are given 10 minutes to pack your things to leave for the palace"* Guard two said*
"Then please excuse me, while I get my things"*I give a slight bow and leave to get my things*
*I then grabbed my two bags with all my belongings. I then left with the guards to the palace.*
<around 30 minutes later>
*I was led to the maids room by the head maid. She showed me to my small dorm connect to a small bathroom, it was overall nice*
"You start tomorrow, at first light."* Lillian-Head maid said*
"Yes Miss."*I said giving a slight bow*
*she then left for her own duties*
(Well, at least this is nicer then my...home...)
*I sorted my clothes and placed them in the closet, some of them needing patching. I grabbed one that needed some serious work done and started on that*
(May not be tailor quality but it will work for now)
*I place it back in the closet, and then finish putting the rest my stuff away. It started to look dark soon, just then a light knock was at my door. I whent over and opened it.*
"Y/N it's time for dinner, please follow me"*She gave a slight bow, and waited for my response*
"Please lead the way"*I said closing then locking my dorm*
*I walked with her to the servants hall [dinner table for servants]*
(It's beautiful, even if it is the servants hall)
*I was led to my seat next the her*
"Thank you miss?"*I said/asked*
"Oh how rude of me, I'm Kerria!"*She said happly*

*The food was already plated before we took our seats.*
(This look better then what mother made, and I mean sure she had her good dishes and such but this..thus can not compare)
"Oh and have you gotten your uniform yet?"*Asked Kerria*
"No I have yet to receive it"*I replied*
"I'll get it with you after dinner"*Said Kerria*
"Thank you you are kind"*I said back*
*After dinner Kerria led me to where I would get my uniform, witch was in the laundry room. Where some of the maids in that department were doing some late night things*
(Gotta make sure it my size to)*I looked though to make sure was fit nicely*
"All set."*I said to kerria*
"Then I will lead you back to your dorm"*She replied*
*When I made it back I wished her good night and changed to my night gown*
(of corse it wasn't the nicest but it was still quite lovely)
(Today was....Just painful....even worse on my depression)*I thought as I layed on my bed*
(Of corse father would be the one to sell be to the palace...mother was still not the worst but...)
*I soon drift to sleep*
