Epilogue.

It's been years and so much has happened.

Me and Carl are around 28/29 now. We have 2 kids. A boy and a girl. The girls name is Tara and we named the boy noah. We've lost lots of people. Tara and Enid are gone. But we met new ones. We live at hilltop now. And yes I still have my backpack. Ricks gone. Michonne and Daryl too. Also Maggie and negan. He's still not the best but he's not so bad anymore. I mean he was locked in a cell for 9 years. Our kids are 3 and 5 now. Judith is doing great too. I think she's 13 now. Sometimes she lets the kids wear the hats. She reminds me of me when I was younger with her. We've faced many things.

"Mom stop writing!" Tara says and I smile. I close the diary and get up. "Yes Tara?" I ask. "Come with me." She says and I follow her. She takes me to Noah's room and I see him and Carl playing. "What did you want to show me in here?" I ask and she goes up to Noah. "Say it Noah" Tara says and I'm confused. He can already speak. He dosent speak but picks up my old camera. "Who's this?" He asks. It was a picture of me and Beth. "Sit down both of you and I'll explain okay?" I say and they nod. I grab all of the photos I took and the camera. I lay them out. "You see that girl? Shoulder length brown hair then in the next one long hair? Her name was Tara.." I say and half smile thinking of my best friend. "Wow! My names Tara!" She says and I smile. "Yep that's who your named after want to know who your middle name is after?" I ask Tara. "Who?" She says and I point to Beth. "That's Beth. She was my sister. You know aunt Maggie? That was out sister." I say and smile. I point out others. "Oh that's Glenn,Noah,and Tara" I say pointing to the ground photo I took. "That's who I named after?" Noah asks and I nod. "He was like my brother." I laugh. Then I point out the one of me and Carl when we were little from the prison. "Who's that?" They ask and I look at Carl. "That's mommy and daddy when we were 12" Carl says and I smile. "Wow! You guys look cool!" He says and I smile. I show them all the pictures and explain who the people are. And even the ones i didn't have pictures of. "Who's that baby?" They ask and I frown for a second then smile. It's Judith. But it's taken from Carls death scare day. "That's baby Judith" I say. "Wow! She was so little!" Tara says and I smile. "Do you want to know about anyone else?" I ask my children. "Did you guys have any friends?" They ask and I nod. "Well.. I had this friend named Enid." I say and Carl cuts me off. "Mom and Enid used to hate each other over me!" He says and I hit his arm. "No!there were more reasons then that!" I say and laugh. I wish they were all here now. All I have is there memory. It's getting late. "Okay bed time kids." I say and pick up Tara and put her in her bed. Carl puts Noah in his bed. "Goodnight you to." I say and smile. "Love you mom,love you dad," they say and we close the door. We make our way to our room. I had grabbed the camera and all the photos. "Hmm I think we need a new one." I say and he smiles. I kiss him and take the photo. "I'm glad you didn't die that day. I don't know what I would have done with myself." I say and he smiles. "I love you Carl grimes" I say. "I love you too Alice grimes." He says and I smile. "Hey I never actually changed my name!" I say and he laughs. "Both the kids have it why can't you have mine?" He says and I laugh. "Fine I'll be Alice grimes." I say and he laughs as we lay down.

Though this is not all over the walkers and stuff. I'm still glad for my little family. There my world. I don't know what I would do without them. I shut my eyes and fall asleep.

WOAH THIS BOOKS OVER. i loved writing it so I'm making a different Carl x reader. I'm sorry this book wasn't that long. It's the first I've ever completed. I'm going to try and get better at writing for my next one. And I wanted to end this one because well I still love Twd I'm kinda loosing interest. I will probably be back in my Twd phase soon. But I will make myself write another book! Sorry this and the last chapter was short. Peace!
