"You look like a cowboy!"

I wake up around 8:30 in the morning or atleast that's what it looks like. Daddy tried to teach me how to know what time it is just by looking at the sun but I can't really remember. I see Beth still sleeping so I stay in bed until she wakes just playing with mr squiggles look up top dosent have to be those exact ones there just some I found :) "I can't believe you still have those things" Beth says "especially ice cream." "I know but it's so old I can't get rid of it now" I say in its defense "I can't believe your first word was ice cream" says Beth "me either" I respond

I decide it's time to get ready for the day so I get up and get dressed. I pick out a pair of my ripped jeans my boots a plain shirt and a light sweater for the morning. I ask Beth for help with my hair then I'm all ready for the day. I walk downstairs with Beth and see a kitchen full of people. I get kind of scared because I haven't seen this many people in a while but calm down after I realize they won't hurt me. Daddy introduces me and Beth to them and we awkwardly say hi then I go sit by Maggie. Me and Maggie start talking about things. Not anything in particular but random things. Until we hear a noise from the other room and from where I'm sitting I can kind of see the boy having what I think is called a seizure. Daddy and what I'm guessing is the boy's father get up and go help him. Maggie goes in too and me and Beth just sit on the couch. We usually don't need time help daddy unless he really needs it. After he's okay again it's around lunch and I go back to my room to dry to find a diary I find one that only had about a half of page of writing so I rip it out and draw my name and fun designs on the inside

Imagine that but a little bigger.
I start a page and write something's about me like my favorite color which is sea blue and my favorite things like my stuffed animals. I stop writing for the day and Beth calls me down stairs. "Coming" I respond. I put my diary down and walk down the stairs to Beth. "Go say hi to the boy he's awake" I kind of look at her weird but go say hi anyway "you look like a cowboy!" I laugh and he laughs to. "Hi I'm Alice" I say "I'm Carl" he replies " and it's not a cowboy hat it's a sheriffs hat but I can see where it looks like a cowboys hat" he laughs. "So how was it out there?" I ask Carl. "It was kinda scary but nothing I can't handle" he tries to act tough and I just giggle because he's acting silly. "I've never been out-out there I've never gone past the fences since this started. I was actually homeschooled before too!" I say "wow your lucky you didn't have to go to school you got to do it at home" he says and we keep talking and laughing for a while until Beth calls me back to the room "bye Carl see you around!" "Bye Alice" he says as I'm walking away. I go up to see Beth in our room sitting on the bottom bunk. "Why'd you call me in here?" I ask "because I'm bored and I want to give you some of my old things that don't fit me and that I don't like" says Beth just as we were about to finish mom calls us down for dinner I haven't watched season 2 in forever they have a mom and other siblings right? Me and Beth walk down and sit at the table we had to put two together and take more chairs just so everyone can sit there's like nine-teen people!! I sit next to Beth and Carl and eat. Once I'm done I ask Carl if he wants to play and he says sure so i take him to me and Beth's room and show him my toys. And he didn't even make fun of me for still having toys!! I gave him one of my bears to play with and we played house Beth and Maggie joined us. I had to beg them too but I need more family members. I was the mom,Carl was the dad,Beth was the dog and Maggie was our son. We had a really really fun time playing until carls dad Rick came and told Carl it was time to go to bed. I hugged Carl goodbye and went to put my toys back. "Do you like Carl?" Beth asked well Maggie laughed "yeah he's nice why would I not like him?" I say "no no I mean like like."says Maggie "eww boys have cooties" I say while the other too laugh "one day you won't think that" says Maggie. "Well Maggie do you like Glenn?" She stops laughing and looks at me with a blank stare "Alice time for bed" I giggle because I know I'm right "you like Glenn!!" I say to Maggie and Beth joins in. We end up chanting making fun of Maggie until she tickles us so we stop. We go lay down and she hugs us good night. "Night Maggie,night Beth" they say good night back and Maggie goes to her room well I try to get some sleep but keep thinking about what Maggie said. Do I like like Carl? I stare at the ceiling for a while trying to figure out the answer but give up after 5 minutes because I'm not sure. I finally get comfortable enough to sleep and start drifting off into dream land.
