As they walked back home from their picnic, Max couldn't contain his curiosity any longer. With a hesitant but earnest tone, he turned to Noah and asked, "Do you like my dad, Liam?"

Noah smiled warmly at Max's question, understanding the significance of the moment. "I do, Max," he replied sincerely, his eyes meeting Max's. "Your dad is a wonderful person, and I'm grateful to have met him."

Max beamed with delight, his trust in Noah growing stronger with each word. "I'm glad you like him," he said, his voice filled with relief. "Because I like you, and I want you to be my friend."

Noah's heart swelled with emotion at Max's words. "I would love to be your friend, Max," he said, his voice soft with sincerity. "And I promise to always be there for you, just like your dad."

As they continued on their way, Max felt a sense of comfort knowing that Noah approved of his dad. With Noah by their side, he knew that their little family would only grow stronger.
