Chapter 13: A memorable birthday

(still Jungkook's perspective)

"happy birthday to you, Eunhye!", she was startled by him, deeply intrigued by the view in front she never noticed him whispering, wishing her birthday like that as he hold out the cake with candles lighten up.

He could see how surprised she became as her eyes starting to moisten up, it looked like she never celebrated the way she should have been. He brought a cake to her and sat with her on the couch she was and winked at her, "make a wish".

Still in a surprise she wasted no time and brought her hands together like a prayer, her eyes closed as he don't know what she deeply wished for. Soon she blowed the candles and smiled at him, that million dollar smile that never fails to melt his heart.

"Thank you so much Jungkook, you made my day happier that I was suffering of".

"Hope your sufferings end soon", with that she started to cut the cake in triangular shape and made him eat with her hands.

"Say ahhh!!", she chuckled and moved her hands to his face and he wasted no time eating that, he was becoming crazy, and he knew the reason why.

"Such a baby, You've got some cream on your lips let me-", he stopped her hands coming his way as he softly grabbed her hand, his eyes reflecting intimacy as he gazed into her deep blue orbs that never fails to flutter his heart.

She pulled her hands away from him as she cleared her throat, trying to get out of that awkward condition as she saw him licking his lips tasting the cream, her mind was going crazy with awful assumptions as the heat rushed to her cheeks, she looked away fanning herself to not get caught, but her mind was drifted to the way how his tongue lapped over his lips and that cream he effortlessly cleaned like an experienced professionalist.

She came back to her world as she heard him cough, "Eunhye, I know this isn't much but here...", he said giving the bottle of wine to her.

Taking it from him she deeply scrutinised it contemplating how to tell him how grateful she is, "this... is.... a lot actually! I don't know how to thank you".

"Stay away from Taehyung that's all I want"

"But-"

"I don't trust him"

"and I should trust you? You know he lives with me in my house how can I stay away from him and-"

"He is not someone I like", he said as he looked ahead slumped on a sofa.

"and why should I bother listening to you?", she asked him as her hands were crossed on her chest.

"because..", he hesitated a bit thinking whether to confess or not as he became uneasy.

"because?", she mocked him as one of her brows was quirked up.

"I....... I-I -", he couldn't complete his sentence as he was cut off by the guy around his age - Jung hoseok his undercover named J-Hope. He was happy that he saved his ass and couldn't ask for more.

"The boss is furious because one of the guys were caught in the act", as he whispered to him Jungkook felt like his world stopped, he gulped hard as he asked, "who?", Hoseok replied with a name he too hated,

"Hyun Jin".

He then turned towards her and saw her eating the cake he brought her, he admired her the way her long silky hairs were falling down and the dress that tightly hugged her was stunning although it was his first time seeing her dressed that way but that totally captivated him.

"Let's take you home, the situation down there is dangerous for you", he said as he took her away from there.

"and you?, wouldn't it be dangerous for you?", a visible frown on her face made his heart ache.

"I'll be okay but you are president's daughter and a scandal wouldn't be best to kick off your adulthood,No?"

He said as he took her hand and drag her out of the room as he ran along the stairs constantly looking behind to see if anyone is following them.

He reached down and dragged her to the main road as he hailed a taxi," what are you doing?"she asked him, a visible frown on her face as, her eyes shows nothing but concern about him.

"Go, we'll talk about this later"

"What about you? Are you going to be okay?"

"Go, we are running out of time please"

"Jungkook! Stop! If it's dangerous for me so is for you, come with me, we are going to be okay, hmm?"

"Eunhye... I'll be okay, just go now!!!"

A/N: Yes its the stray kids hyunjin, so wanted to make him look bad but anyways not gonna spoil anything.
And yes my exams are over so I can finally start writing again.
