Chapter - 3

Recap : Vijay overhears Kaveri's conversation with her father and dislikes her attitude. Meanwhile, Kaveri decides to stay at the office.

Mani bid bye to Kaveri and left for home. Kaveri closed her eyes and thought about her conversation with her father. She felt suffocated. She quickly ran inside her cabin and switched on the lights. She began searching for something in her cabin. Her breathing became abnormal and her legs started trembling.. But she kept searching for something.. That something is her inhaler.

Kaveri opened the drawers, searching it everywhere. After turning her whole cabin upside down, she finally checked her handbag and found it. She collapsed onto the floor, pumping the inhaler. Slowly, her breathing returned to normal. Feeling exhausted, she fell on the floor and stared at the ceiling. Gradually, sleep overtook her and she slept on the floor, too tired to get up.

Next Morning :

Vedha approached Kaveri's cabin and knocked the door several times. 

Vedha : Intha akka ku ena achu? Ivlo neram knock panitu iruken, "come in" nu oru vaartha sola maatengra. (What happened to this sister? I've been knocking for so long, still she hasn't asked me to come in)

She thought for a moment and gently pushed the door open. She saw the lights were on and was shocked to see Kaveri lying on the floor, sleeping.

Vedha : Kaveri akka. Ena aachu ungaluku? (Kaveri sis. What happened to you?)

Vedha rushed to Kaveri's side and started waking her. She rubbed Kaveri's hands and pushed her slightly to rouse her.

Kaveri stirred in her sleep and scratched her head.

Vedha sighed in relief.

Hearing 'meeting', Kaveri got up with a jerk. She rubbed her eyes and looked at the time. Realizing she was holding the inhaler, she quickly hid it in her pocket.

Kaveri looked around nervously and gulped.
