Chapter - 5

Recap : Rajalakshmi, Kaveri's grandmother, called her to come home to collect her mother's things. Vijay got annoyed by Kumaran's excitement for the get-together.

Kaveri and Vedha arrived at Sundar's mansion. Vedha got out of the car and entered the house. Kaveri, on the other hand, hesitated to enter the house. She remained seated, her hands gripping the steering wheel as she took deep breaths to calm her racing heart. Finally, she composed herself and stepped out of the car. The air was cool and crisp, carrying the faint scent of jasmine from the nearby garden. Kaveri adjusted her kurti before she began walking towards the house. Lost in her thoughts, she barely noticed the two men approaching from the opposite direction. Her mind was a whirl of anxiety and she failed to see the two men until it was too late. 

She collided with one of them. The impact of dashing, sent a jolt through her body. Rubbing her arm, she turned around, ready to scold the person who had collided with her. To her surprise, she found herself facing two handsome, well-built men. One was tall with a chiseled jawline and an air of arrogance that made him look smoking hot. The other man was neatly dressed, with a calm demeanor. She recognized the second man instantly as Kumaran, Rudran's son, whom she had worked with.

Before she could say anything, the tall guy shouted at her.

Arivu illa? Ipdiya oruthara Edipa? Edichitu statue maathiri nikira, padicha ponnu thana nee? (Don't you have any sense? How dare you dash me like that? Look at how you're standing like a statue after hitting me, aren't you educated?)

Kaveri's face flushed with embarrassment and anger. She opened her mouth to retort, but Kumaran stepped in quickly to calm him down.

Kumaran : Vijay bro, summa irunga. theriyama edichirupanga. yen ipdi lam pesureenga? (Vijay bro, calm down. She might not have done it intentionally. Why are you speaking like this?)

Kaveri, moved closer to Vijay and pointed her finger at him.

Kaveri : Hello! Mind your words. Naan onnum venum nu edikala. Theriyama edichitan. Athuku enna ipo? Naan thaan etho yosichitey nadanthu vanthan, unga kannu nala thana iruku. Neenga paathu poga vendiyathu thana. Perusa arivu pathi lam pesureenga? (Hello! Mind your words. I didn't intend to bump into you. I didn't know. What's the big deal now? I came here thinking something, but your eyes are good enough to notice me, right? You could have walked properly. You are lecturing me about common sense?)

Her closeness affected Vijay. He took a step back, creating a safe distance and turned slightly towards Kumaran, but his attention remained on Kaveri. He was still fuming with anger and gritted his teeth.

Vijay : Hey.. enna over ah pesura? (Hey.. You are talking too much)

Kaveri : Nee thaan over ah react panra. (You are the one overreacting.)

Vijay : Unna. (You..)

Kumaran quickly stepped in, grabbing Vijay by the arm and whispering urgently.

Kumaran : Yen bro, ipdi sanda podra? Avanga venum ney edikala. Vidu. Avanga yaarunu theriyuma? (Bro, why are you creating a scene like this? She didn't do it intentionally. Leave it. Do you know who she is?)

Vijay : Enna periya maharani ah iva, face ah pathathum kandu pudikirathuku?  (Who is she, a queen? To remember her just by seeing her face?)

Kumaran : Anna. Nethiku pathomey. Kaveri, KRN groups oda CEO. Avanga thaan ivanga (Brother, we saw her yesterday. She is Kaveri, the CEO of KRN groups)
