3. Tips on Fixing Writer’s Block

Running low on creative juice? A non-writers suggestion to you is to just go to the store to pick more up. But we both know it’s not that easy! Three great ways to get your ideas popping again are these: 1. Drink water. Water keeps your body hydrated and happy. Which also can stimulate a less stressed mind, and a more flowing river of story ideas. 2. Come up with a general theme for whatever you’re writing; chapter, a page, short story, or even an entire novel. 3. Take a cold shower. Ice cold. Freezing cold. Make your teeth chatter cold. While under the water (did I mention it must be cold?) toss around random ideas with your story in mind. You might just come out needing a paper and pen… and a cup of hot chocolate.
