* Past Continued*

Nandini and Mahi, walked with a group of other girls, rolling their suitcases behind them. They had just received their welcome to college kit and they were walking to their hostel rooms.

"Thank god, we can choose our room mates", Mahi huffs, as they finally enter their allotted hostel room.

"Leave that aside, I am happy it is two sharing and not three sharing.", Nandini replies locking the door shut behind her and kneeling on the floor to unpack her suitcases.

"Are you already unpacking? I want to go look around the campus.", Mahi whines sitting on her bed.

Nandini rolls her eyes before responding, "Are you sure you aren't going to look for your handsome senior."

Mahi flushes lightly before mocking her smirking friend, "At least I'll try talking to the guy I like. Can't say the same for you."

"It's barely been an hour since I met him di. I don't like him.", Nandini responds firmly, carrying a stack of her clothes from her suitcase and arranging it in her cupboard.

"And you won't do anything, even if you do like him. It has always been like this, since school.", Mahi retorts.

"I had silly crushes in school. There's no way I'm going to date someone when I'm that young and immature.", Nandini huffs.

"What about now?", Mahi demands, leaving Nandini speechless.

Nandini glares at her friend before sighing, "You want to go down? Let's go, but please shut up."

Mahi grins in triumph before she gets off her bed and flounces out, making Nandini follow her.

Nandini and Mahi meet two other girls just outside their hostel room and they exchange a round of greetings.

"Hey, I'm Sathya and this is Nethra. It's nice to meet you guys.", Sathya introduces herself.

Nandini smiles in return before introducing herself and Mahi.

The four of them make small talk as they head to the canteen to have lunch. They get their lunch trays before finding a table and seating themselves.

"So you guys know each other since school? That is so fun. Getting into the same college as your best friend.", Nethra exclaims.

"Yeah unfortunately. She's always following me everywhere", Nandini laughs, causing Mahi to elbow her. They continue eating and Nandini looks up to see the guy from earlier entering with the same seniors.

Nandini immediately looks back down, pretending as if she did not notice anything.

"Don't you dare do that Nandu. I saw it.", Mahi whispers to her friend making her groan.

Sathya who also noticed Nandini glance back turned to find Raghav along with a few seniors.

"Oh that's Raghav.", Sathya exclaims before yelling his name and waving him over to their table.

Raghav smiles at Sathya before making his way over. The three seniors who were with him, follow him too. Nandini's eyes grow wide in shock as she looks over at Mahi. Mahi's smile widened when she noticed her senior from before was also part of the group that were currently headed to their table.

"Hey Raghav", Sathya greets him, before she introduces him to Nandini and Mahi.

Raghav's attention focuses on Nandini and his eyes widen slightly as he recognises her from before.

"Hi Nandini, I'm Raghav.", he introduces himself, giving her a smile.

Nandini's eyes widen further before she schools her expression and smiles back, "Hey, It's nice to meet you."
