"Nandu ma, yen ivlo late uh?", her mother, Geetha, questions worriedly.

[Nandu, why are you so late today?]

"Thaniya illa ma, Raghav kooda dhan irundhen.", Geetha replies.

[It's okay ma, I wasn't alone. I was with Raghav.]

Her mother smiles suddenly before rushing to her daughter, "So, paiyan yepdi? Is he fine?"

[So, how is he?]

Nandini hides the slight blush on her face and rolls her eyes, "Yeah, he's fine ma. I'm tired, I'll go sleep."

Geetha watches her daughter go smiling slightly at her apparent shyness.

Just as Nandini settles on her bed ready to sleep, her phone pings.

Raghav: Goodnight!

Raghav: Reply panna mateengalo?

[Oh, so you won't reply to me?]

Nandini: Maten

[Nope.]

Raghav: Adhu seri. Na kovama poren. Bye.

[Hmph. I'm going to bed angry. Bye.]

Nandini: Ok, bye!

Raghav: Yenga ipdi panringa?

[Why are you being like this?]

Nandini: Ponga ponga poi padunga.

[Go to sleep.]

Nandini places her phone on her nightstand before going to bed with a smile.

"Excuse me, ma'am?", Saru grins cheekily as she knocks on the door before she enters her boss's cabin.

"What's with the sudden respect?", Nandini responds not looking up from the pile of documents in front of her.

"Adhalam vidu, you tell me how was yesterday?", Saru asks settling on the chair in front of Nandini.

[You leave all that and tell me how was yesterday?]

Nandini's smile was instant at the memory of the day before, "It went very well."

"Oh hooo", Saru grins teasingly at her friend, making her blush.

"Po di, poi HR files kuduparu poi complete pannu.", Nandini chastises her friend for disturbing her concentration.

[Go and complete the files I told you.]

"Vara vara romba vela vangura nee. Irru di.", Saru grumbles but follows the order nevertheless.

[You're giving me too much work nowadays.]

Nandini sighs in frustration when her phone rings loudly. She reluctantly picks it up and Mahi's loud voice fills her ears.

"Nandu, tell me everything. How was Raghav?", Mahi screeches in excitement.

"Raghav was fine, as usual.", Nandini replied vaguely.

"Fine as in ok-ok fine? Or like fine as in he is a fine specimen?", Mahi replies, knowing her friend very well.

"U-uh the second option?", Nandini answers unsure making Mahi laugh out loud.

"Did you have fun? What did you guys talk about? Did you kiss or hug? Anything?", Mahi bombards Nandini with questions causing the latter to huff in annoyance.
