In Their Arms

37 - OMG

I couldn't find the words to describe what I'm feeling at this moment.
Happiness could come close to that, but it's way much more.

"Yes! Yes! God, Yes!" I cry and hug the three men kneeling in front of me. "I love you, I love you all so much!"

I couldn't stop crying at this point. They're everything I want, and more. They are what I needed my whole life and didn't know. They are my happiness.

"But how are we going to do this?" I ask them.

They are standing up now, all smiling. Caden had a tiny box with a ring inside and Aaron and Vincent had another box with three rings.

"I know someone who could do our ceremony." Vincent said. "And we thought we could invite a few people and have a wedding party."

"But I only know two other people here and they're Aaron's students too."

"Talk to them." Aaron kisses my forehead. "Make sure they can keep this secret, and then you can invite them."

I hug him tight.

"Thank you, A." I smile still crying. "I'm so happy."

Caden puts the ring on my finger and I put their rings on them.

I just can't stop smiling.

Friday came along and it was time to leave to the farm. Vincent left me on Leah's house before he went to work, and we were waiting for Gigi to arrive.

When she does, we all get inside Leah's new car and start our "trip". The farm was about 1 hour and a half away so we had plenty of time to talk. And I took that as an opportunity.

"Guys." I start. "I need to tell you something."

"You can tell us anything, baby." Gigi touches my shoulder.

She was on the backseat, I was on the passenger seat and Leah was driving like crazy.

"But you must keep this a secret. No one else can know about this." I tell them.

Leah turns the music off and slows down the car.

"Talk to us, baby." She says with a sweet smile.

"I'm engaged." I tell them almost in a whisper.

Leah stops the car abruptly and thank God for seat belts and clear roads.

"What the hell Leah?!" I ask.

"You're engaged?" She asks.

"Yes." I smile.

"I didn't even know you were in a relationship!" Gigi says surprised.

"But, there's more."

"More?" They both ask at the same time.

"I'm engaged to three guys." I smile. "And one of them is Mr. Laurent." I try to hold my laugh back.

"You slut!" Leah starts laughing.

"Holly shit!" Gigi joins our laughter.

"Three guys? At the same time?"

I nod.

"No wonder you'd show up limping sometimes." Gigi says and I blush.

"Shut up." I laugh. "Anyways, I wanted to invite you two for my wedding."

"Oh my God, Yes! Of course!" Leah says.

"It'll be an honor, Elise." Gigi smiles. "When?"

"I don't know yet. But the guys said I could plan everything and they would just pay for it."

"Money! I like it!"

"What are their names?" Leah asks.

"Well, there's Aaron, but you already know, Vincent and Caden." I unlock my phone and show them a few pictures I convinced the guys to take with me.

"You guys are so cute together!" Leah smiles.

"We could help you plan everything if you want." Gigi offers.

"I would love that!"

I hug them both and Leah starts the car again.

The rest of our ride was all ideas for my wedding.

My wedding.

It feels perfect to say that.

When we arrive at our location, my phone starts to ring.

An unknown number is calling me.

Weird.

I pick up and the voice behind it brings me chills.

"Run!"

"Mom?" I aks.

"Run, Elise! Run! You need to leave the country! Right now!"

"Mom, we had this conversation before! I'm not going home! Stop calling me!" I answer clearly annoyed.

The girls frown at me and I only nod for them to go and I'll meet them later.

"No! Do not come back to Brazil! Go anywhere else!" She sounds desperate. I've never seen her like that.

"What is going on?" I ask.

"Your father found you!"

"My father is a junkie lost in the streets with his junkie friends." I roll my eyes

What a sad attempt to make me leave again.

"No! I lied, Elise. Your father is a very, very dangerous man! He called me, saying he found you. You must runaway now!"

"Wait, what are you talking about? Who is my father then? Why did you lie to me my entire life?" I'm scared now, my mother never sounded like that.

"Your father is Luca Macedo, Elise. He found you."
