Camden POV

Although the day I was able to avoid her like she had the plague but now is the biggest boss.

Lunch time.

The biggest time of the day for a highschool student. Where all the social groups pile into one crowded room.

"You might meet your skin sucking beast from last night." Rhea whispered to me as we walked into the lunch room making me groan.

"Stop calling her that please." I groaned as she raised a brow.

"So it's a girl. Explains a lot." Rhea said with a smirk as I sighed in defeat as we got our trays of food before going to our table and sat down.

"So was she good?" Rhea asked making me choke on my water.

"RHEA!" I whispered harshly as she chuckled as she ate.

"What? I'm just asking since you won't tell me anything. I mean by the way your neck looks I'd say it went well." She furthered her point as I rolled my eyes.

We continued our conversation until the cafeteria went quiet. I knew what that meant. So I quietened myself down as the cheer team walked into the cafeteria.

"I know you hate them Camden, but come on they're not that bad." Rhea said with a chuckle as I shook my head.

This isn't about hate at all. This is about hiding.

"Yeah I guess you're right." I said as I hesitantly took my eyes off her and began to speak again.

We soon picked up our conversation laughing and joking around until I felt it.

Her stare

Rhea was eating when I felt it. I hesitantly turned my head to meet her blue eyes staring at me. We stared at one another before I saw her eyes move from my eyes to my neck.

Her eyes narrowed realizing that the marks she had left were now covered by make-up her eyes darkened as they landed back up to mine.

She doesn't look too happy.

"Camden. CAMDEN!" Rhea yelled pulling my gaze back to hers as I hummed in response.

"What were you looking at over there?" She asked trying to get a peak of what I was staring at as I shook my head.

"Nothing. I was staring at nothing." I said in reply as she hesitantly nodded and we picked up our conversation once again.
