The Assistant

Chapter Seventeen

Dae stood frozen about to enter the hallway. Had they just heard that right? Drunk Namjoon confessing his feelings to drunk Morrigan? Dae waited inside to see if anymore would be said between the two. When it was silent, Dae slid through the door, running into Namjoon by himself. He turned on his heel, rushing towards his room, blush spread throughout his face.

Dae rushed to the room she was sharing with Rem and Morrigan, finding Morrigan facedown in their bed snoring. Dae sighed and didn't bother to talk about it tonight.

The trio woke the next morning exhausted and in need of more rest, but today they were in another location of the Japan portion of their tour. They will perform tonight and tomorrow night here. The stage had already been set because they had been here for almost a week.

Morrigan couldn't remember much from the night before and instead of wasting the day trying to figure it out, she got herself ready.

Dae waited for Morrigan to say something about last night and when she didn't, Dae assumed Morrigan had just forgotten.

Dae met Namjoon outside to question what he remembered from last night and his memories came up blank as well.

Dae sighed a breath of relief and met with Yoongi to discuss what they knew.

Yoongi pulled them around a corner and into a tight hug. He planted a kiss on her forehead.

"You needed me?" He asked.

"I heard something between Morrigan and Namjoon that they don't remember." Dae responded.

Yoongi sat patiently.

"They were both drunk and Namjoon told Morrigan he loved her and I think they kissed."

Yoongi's face turned surprised. "He finally told her?"

Dae nodded.

"Let's just see if they remember, they'll come find us if they do."

Morrigan watched the concert along with the other assistants from the viewing room. They wanted to watch from the side stage, but staff was worried they might be seen by a fan and exposed. Morrigan still had no memory of the night before.

Back at the hotel room, Morrigan had skipped out on meeting everyone for dinner and decided to just sleep it off.

It was July and the final Japan date was over. They were returning home until October when they would be back for their special edition concerts. Morrigan and Namjoon still hadn't retained their memories and at this point it seems they would never remember. This seemed like a relief to Dae and Yoongi who thought Morrigan and Namjoon were not ready to accept their feelings for each other.

When back in Korea, the group spent their time relaxing at their newly built and finally finished dorm. They moved their things in from the garage and the private residences where their things were stored.

Namjoon and Morrigan visited his family while Yoongi and Dae spent quality time at Yoongi's apartment. Namjoon and Morrigan hadn't returned to their relationship because they were waiting for the tour to be officially over. Once it was, Namjoon was planning to take some time with Morrigan to discuss their feelings and decide where to go with their relationship while BTS worked on their next comeback.

Namjoon spent time with his parents while Geong-Min and Morrigan caught up. The girls sat together talking about the tour.

"Maybe I could join next time." Geong-Min laughed.
