A violinist who was once homeless traveling across the United States. He returns to his hometown in St. Louis, Missouri mainly due to homesickness. Aster is found one day playing for the pigeons until he met a wonderful couple who was kind enough to put his fiddling talent to good use in performing in a band for the Dandy Cafe. He shall soon discover that not all what happend in the cafe is fine and dandy. After he uncovers the secret of the Dandelion speakeasy, there is no way out.
Aster resumes to play in the cafe and speakeasy as a fiddler, but he'll also take on the task of becoming a bootlegger after the mysterious founder is found dead during New Year. Especially when most of the employees have abandoned ship. He'll do anything to save the speakeasy from collapsing, even moreso when he discovers that he can use mind control through music.

Aster's sheltered cousin and former pupil of the Police Academy. His aspirations of becoming a police officer had been dashed after he exposed a sadistic side of him upon using a firearm.
After his expulsion from the Police Academy, he seeks employment without success. Aster accompanies him to lift his spirits, and as such, takes him on a trip to a barn, prompting Allen to become a vigilante though the vigilante justice his cousin had in mind was to set the barn ablaze.
Upon witnessing his wayward cousin commit arson, Dimple begins to question if it was worth getting swept into the world of gangsters and illicit spirits all because he could wield a gun with precision and had the discipline his cousin lacked. Furthermore, he couldn't help the nagging feeling that there was something else that his cousin is hiding from him and needed to figure out what it was.
