1 week later Lucy was buzzing with excitement, the next day was the last day of school. "Mamma may I please stay up late Please," Nat laughed, "you may stay up until 8:30, but no later than that," Lucy nodded, and went outside to play. 1 hour later Nat called her back inside for dinner, after dinner Lucy brushed teeth, and got PJ'S on. At 8:30 Nat took her upstairs, and Lucy got into bed. The next morning, Lucy woke up, and went to the toilet, then she started the shower. While it warmed up,, she took off her PJ'S, and underwear. In the shower, she washed her hair, conditioned it, washed her body, then rinsed out the conditioner with cool water. When she got out, she dried off, put on lotion, undergarments, denim shorts, a red t-shirt, socks, and her red converse. Downstairs she ate breakfast, as she was eating, Nat brushed her hair, and put it into 2 French braids. After breakfast, she ran upstairs to brush teeth, then she ran downstairs, grabbed her backpack, and a extra bag for her stuff. Nat drove her to school, and walked her to class, Lucy started getting nervous, "mom are you staying?" Nat hugged her, "no, but I know you'll be okay," she left, and Lucy sat down with her head in her arms. Her teacher MS. Laney saw, "Lucy are you okay," Lucy looked up, Laney saw she'd been crying "honey, what's wrong?" "I want my mommy," Lucy cried, when Laney got her calmed down, she told her, "Lucy guess what," "what," "you will see mommy in 4 hours." Lucy forgot it was half day, so when class started she was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a party. Then at 11:15 they started packing up their stuff, Lucy put all her notebooks, pencil pouch, and Binder in her backpack, everything else she put into her extra bag. Then the bell rang, and Lucy went out to the hallway to find Nat speaking with the principle. She walked over, and Nat put a arm around her, "hi Lucy," Sam, the principle said. "Hi MR. Sam," Lucy said, "are you happy it's summer," Lucy nodded, "mamma, can we go get doughnuts please." Nat laughed, "yes we can get doughnuts to celebrate the last day of school." As they were driving home, Nat stopped at Dunkin' and ordered a dozen doughnuts for everyone to share. At the compound, everyone ate the doughnuts, then Nat helped Lucy put her school stuff away. Downstairs Lucy was talking with Wanda, and she mentioned something that perked everyone up. "My birthday is in 5 days," Nat smiled, "she's turning 10 years old," she joked, Lucy's sassy side shined, "Uh....No....I'm turning 12." Everyone laughed, and then Lucy asked Nat, "mamma, can I be homeschooled next year?" Nat had told everyone what Sam had said, but not Lucy, "we'll see," she replied. "Please," Lucy begged, "Lucy," Nat was firm, "fine.," Lucy replied. Tony asked what everyone wanted for dinner, "Lucy should decide," Nat said, everyone agreed. "I wanna eat pizza," Lucy said, "okay...pizza it is then," Tony replied, then he ordered 2 pizzas for everyone to share. When it arrived, everyone sat down, and ate, after dinner, Lucy went upstairs to brush her teeth. Then Nat told her, "we're all going shopping tomorrow, so I want you to go to bed at a decent time okay?" "Yes mamma," Lucy replied, "mamma," "yes," Nat replied, "I need my own bathroom stuff, so I'm not always using yours." Nat agreed, and sent Lucy to get ready for bed, then sat her down to make a list of bathroom necessities.
