It has been for some time since everything went down as the Huntsman and other professional position people had set camp within Vale, eliminating Grimm to expand the safe area for everyone. During this time however Jaune along with Nora, Ren and Ruby left, leaving to Mistral for the sole reason to do as much as they can and so long they can get there... They will inform the Mistral council along with the academy about what transpired over the Grimm invasion to get help for Vale due to a peace treaty that they learnt during class.
Jaune in the time being, he was different. Not only in the way he acted or carried himself but the way he interacted within fights.
As Ren, Nora and Jaune was standing off with a oversized boulder golem that was being possessed by the Grimm that they were hunting... The Grimm Geist.
Ruby fell from the sky before she landed on the tree branch with her scythe pulled out.
"Brute strength is useless, Jaune! So we need to go on a different route" Ruby warned the trio down on the ground before Jaune locked in and dashed off forwards, without any hesitation, stepping on the ground to his final step before he slide under the wide swing the Grimm swung before he looked up. Raising his foot and elbow as he slide before he pushed his foot upon the ground and at the same time, banging his elbow downwards as he sent himself up towards the air with the force of his strength as within a moment notice, Jaune had grabbed the mask of the Grimm that was still visible on what seem to be the boulder body head as clenched his fist, surging it with his energy before bashing once hard on the mask of the Grimm.

A few seconds passed before the Grimm mask began to form cracks, the possessed boulders began to collapsed onto the ground as the Grimm slowly disappeared into black dust, becoming dust specs into the air as Jaune leaped off the falling boulder and walked to his team and Ruby.
"The mask is the best spot to attack to kill it like this."
"Ah.... yeah...." Nora brought down her weapon as Ruby and Ren put down their weapon and sheathed them, they had expected a good fight to try out some battle combos that they thought up of but seem like Jaune had already got it covered.

"That Geist had been plaguing our village for weeks. We were beginning to wonder if we'd have to relocate."
"Well, we are on our way to Mistral. You could always come along with us if you don't feel safe." Ruby did offer but Jaune look around to theidyllic life in the village are shown as the towns people bought fresh produce from a cart, stand and chat on open balconies overlooking the roads, tend to their horses and generally go about their daily lives peacefully.
