"I don't wanna go." I said lowly as my mom sighed. "But Blue i understand Brooklyn is gone but we all know she's our star player so ofc she's gonna make the team, whether she try out or not. So stop being so sad about it & come with me to try outs." She said as I just wiped my tears. My bestie is literally gone like how could I not be sad right now. "Is Nicki coming?" I asked as she shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe. Why?" She said as I just shook my head.
"I'm gonna talk to her okay, it's gonna be okay." She said as I just nodded. I got ready & we went to the gym.
Brooklyn
"Thank you for flying Delta." The pilot said as we all got off the plane. I sighed & looked around. The airport was big as fuck. Once I got my suitcase I called my dad. "I just landed." I said. "Okay I'm almost there. Did you call Nicki?" He said as I frowned. I have t talk to my mom since the other night. She didn't tell me bye or anything, she's been in her room for the past couple of days which is weird. "Um no, she's been acting... strange." I said. "We'll call her. I'm here, just walk to the front & you'll see me." He said as I nodded. I hung up the phone & walked to the pick up door.
Once I saw my dad, I instantly smiled & ran to him w my suitcase. "You've gotten taller since the last time I seen you." He said as I just laughed. "I knowwwww. I missed you tho. Can we go eat? I am starving." I said as he just chuckled. "You acting like ya mom." He said as I just nodded. We got in & I looked around as he drove. "What you want?" He asked. "Chick fil a. You already know my order." I said as he shook his head. "You a mess." He said. I just brushed him off & I saw my mom calling.
"Hello?" I said. "Hey Brooke I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to tell you bye. I've been sleeping all day & im actually still tired which is weird. But I was calling to make sure you made it safely. Be good, I love you." She said. "I love you more ma. & are you okay? You've been in your room for the longest. You need to go to a doctor if you don't feel well." I said as she sighed & laughed a little. "Why would I go to a doctor when I'm a doctor myself? But I'm fine I just have to accept the consequences." She said as my facial expressions appeared as confused. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I'm pregnant Brooklyn." She said as I just gasped.
"Wait like fr fr?" I asked. "Mhmmm." She hummed out. "Does Beyoncé know? It is hers right?" I asked as she giggled. "Yes it's hers & no I haven't told her yet. I just found out myself. I'm in the bathroom as we speak. But I'm gonna tell her. I have to go tho, she wants me to come watch basketball tryouts with her." She said as I felt some type of way that I couldn't be there. "Let me know if I made it for not." I said. "Okay baby girl I will. Call me later on." She said. "Okay ma I love you." I said. "I love you more. Take care. Ill see you soon." She said. I said okay & hung up.
I looked over to see my dad staring at me. He's so damn nosy. "So?" He asked. "I'm not telling you my moms business. Just know her & Beyoncé be getting busy if you know what I mean." I said as he laughed. "I rmb them times w her." He said as I just shook my head. "Anywho. This line long as fuck." I said. "Watch ya mouth." He said as I apologized.
I got a text, well multiple texts on my phone from my boy- this boy that likes me.
"Who's that blowing up your phone?" My dad asked as I just giggled. "My friend." I said. "It can't be Blue cause you would've said my bestieeeee." He said mimicking my voice as I laughed. "I don't sound like that." I said as he laughed. "A boy or girl?" He asked. "A boy." I said. "He likes you?" He asked as I nodded. I can tell him stuff better than I can my mom bc she wants me to be a baby forever so I can't talk to her about these type of things. "Well all I have to say is school first. No babies, & no sex. You already know how Nicki is so I'll tell her. Now is he your boyfriend?" He said as I nodded slowly.
