Five

(Five days guys!)

"Do you have any eggs?" Tae asked.

"I do! What are you going to do?" Jin asked as he grabbed them from his fridge.

"Well, I don't think the soup is salvageable. But we can make a nice omelette. Unless you're planning on making something else."

Jin bites his lower lip as he ponders the situation. "I don't know. My friends can be assholes. I promised them a delicious meal. And if they see eggs and charred meat, they will tear into me."

"I see.. I will place a quick order from the nearest BBQ place. Maybe that will satisfy your friends."

"Ok, I think it might work."

Tae then walked out of earshot to place the order. While Jin attempted to clean up the mess he made.

He had barely managed to empty the blue water from the pot but his doorbell began ringing. So he left the pot on the counter while he answered.

Taehyung returned to the dining room when he began to hear several voices as they walked nearer.

"What do you mean you changed the meal plan? I haven't eaten since breakfast and I am starving. You better have some food otherwise I will kick your ass!" Hobi tells Jin hangrily.

"I will.. but it will take a while."

They all were stopped in their tracks when they entered the room and saw Taehyung standing quietly.

Jimin was the first to speak and asked cheerfully, "Hello.. are you joining us for dinner?"

Hobi and Yoongi were staring at him, making the moment awkward. Jin chuckles and moves closer to Tae.

"Yes, of course he is. Guys, this is Kim Taehyung. The one whose pool I allegedly played naked in."

"Ah! I see. I remember Jin-ah telling us about it." Yoongi smiled and went to shake his hand.

Hobi smirked and went to shake his hand too. And asked him, "Did he really play naked in your pool?"

"Oh yes. He was 4 and I was 8." Tae responds.

Hobi laughs and tells Jin, "So you were always a big H-''

"Hobi!" Jimin cuts him off. Hoping to save Jin from embarrassment.

Then Jin tells Tae, "That's quite a big age difference. A bit pervy, don't you think?" He laughs nervously.

"Yes, I like to think so." Tae replies with a smile.

Jimin, Hobi and Yoongi all share a knowing look between them.

The food arrives and they all sit down while Jin and Tae go to grab the food.

Hobi quickly whispers to Yoongi and Jimin, "Wow, Jin did not mention that he was that gorgeous! He is beyond belief. Do you think I have a shot?"

"Get real!" Yoongi replies.

"What?! I don't think Jin wants him. And I think we'd be perfect together." Hobi argues.

"You didn't see how they acted together?! Of course Jin likes him. Who wouldn't?!" Jimin interjects.

Hobi slumps back into his seat with crossed arms. "I don't know why you can't ever support me. But fine, I'll try not to overshadow Jin's spotlight and let him have a chance."

Jimin and Yoongi laugh but quickly hush up when Jin and Tae return with the food.

The frown Hobi had faded quickly once he smelled the food. His smile lit up the room as he reached for the bags.
