Jaune Arc was betrayed by everyone. Friends, family, you name it. Only in the dark a voice called to him offering power and salvation. What if Rhulk wasn't the first disciple of the Witness? What if Jaune was the first?
After the harsh battle between the Dread and the students of Beacon team RWBY were exhausted. They managed to win the battle but lost a lot of students along the way. Ruby was the first to pass out onto her bed. As she passed out she then woke up in a dark void where she walked on solid ground. Soon robed figures started to appear around her as she was quite scared on what type of dream she's in. Then she heard a voice from somewhere.
???: Little girl.
It echoed through the void as she started to look around to see who's speaking to her.
Ruby: W-Who's there? Hello?
Then she heard a voice she thought she'll never hear again.
???: My little rose peddle.
It was her mom's voice. She looked around frantically to find her but nothing but robed figures.
Ruby: Mom?
Summer: I love you so much.
Ruby: Mom where are you? Mom? Mom!
Then in front of her she sees a silhouette of her mom in the distance. She can't see her face but the clothes do belong to her mother. She ran to her but the more she gotten close summer moves further away. She started to run towards her but to no avail. Soon a fog consumed Ruby's mother entirely as Ruby now was on her knees crying.
Ruby: Mom please don't go.
Then the strange voice can back but more louder. This time it spoke her name.
???: Ruby Rose.
The fog surrounding her soon gathered into a singular area as it started to form a figure. Tall in nature and its form scared Ruby to no end. This was a nightmare she wants to wake but she couldn't. Soon she was standing before the Witness itself.

Ruby: W-Who are you?
The Witness: We are your savior. We are you... salvation. We come to help your world. Let us lift the weight of SUFFERING.
Behind her one of the robed figures spoke next to her ear.

The Witness: Join us.
Ruby saw the hand now offering to her. She didn't now what to say but this feeling was definitely wrong to her.
Ruby: You... you're the one who transformed Jaune didn't you?
The Witness: Indeed. We saw him broken and suffering so we helped him and made him into something more. He is our disciple.
Ruby: T-Turn him back!
The Witness: Why? You left him. You all left him to suffer. You left him to die.
The last part the Witness used a part of Jaune's voice to scare Ruby which worked. She backed away slowly knowing that the destruction of Remnant is on her hands.
Ruby: N-no I-
The Witness then spawned a copy of Jaune all bloody and beaten. It limped over to Ruby with anger in his eyes.
Jaune: You left me. You betrayed me. Everyone even my own family left me to die. How could you? We were friends. I was your first friend and this is how you treat me?
Ruby: *crying* I-I didn't mean to.
The Witness: Oh but you did. You knew exactly what you were doing. You thought you were the hero of this world but in reality you are the poison. Just as many who came before you.
Just then the illusion of Jaune then rose and changed into the Witnesses disciple. Both Jaune and the Witness spoke in unison.
The Witness/ Jaune: Enough. Enough betrayal, enough suffering. Life is not a fairytale. But one things for certain. Salvation is the key. And you will soon become apart of it for there is no escape.
Finally Ruby managed to wake up scream at the top of her lungs which also woke up her team.
Yang: Ah Ruby what's wrong?
Weiss: You dunce did you have to scream so loud?
Ruby: I-I. *starts to cry*
Yang: Ruby are you ok?
Blake: Ruby what's wrong?
They all gather to where Ruby was crying. Her tears flowed now knowing what is about to happen.
Ruby: We can't win.
Yang: What?
Ruby: We can't win!
Yang: What do you mean sis? Of course we can win. We fought the White Fang and Torchwick. What's the faker gonna-
Ruby: This is not the Jaune we once's knew Yang! He is merely a disciple of something much bigger. Remnant will fall and salvation will come. We can't win. The Witness has won over Remnant.
They were confused on what she was saying. Ruby was in a broken state. Yang try to comfort her but Ruby shrugged her off. Yang was now really worried about her little sister. She didn't know what she saw but one thing is certain and that is she is broken and needs to be fixed. They all went back to sleep while Ruby cried herself to sleep wishing she could undo everything she has done to Jaune.
Location: Atlas
Atlas was now in ruins. The remaining forces retreated to Vale while the forces of darkness slaughtered anyone who gets in their way. The survival of Atlas were the special forces and the remnants of the Schnee family except Jacque who try to bargain with Korvek but was met with a scythe to the face. Korvek then travel with Atlas and found the vault which contained the relic of creation. Opening the vault was easy and Korvek retrieve the relic and transported back to Jaune to show on what he has found.
Korvek: My lord.
Jaune: What is this.
Korvek: A relic of some sort.
Jaune: Interesting. Now then, head to menagerie. You know what to do.
Korvek: As you wish.
As Korvek teleported away Jaune smiled on what he did in Ruby's dream. Ruby will join them even if by force. The people of Remnant are powerless to stop him. Walked down from his throne he walked past many creatures frozen in place but two in particular were frozen. In front of Jaune were the two brother dead by their bodies use as sculptures for him amusement. Waving his hand he moves the bodies as on the other side it revealed an entire army ready and waiting for the fall of Ramnant. Jaune smiled ready for the next step in his plan.
