*GRACE'S POV*
The next morning had finally arrived. It was the first day back to church since my little vacation, if you would call it that. I walked over to my closet, picking out a dress for the day.
Once I had it on, I added some eyeliner and mascara, followed by some perfume. I decided to leave my hair naturally straight. I checked out my outfit in the full length mirror, satisfied.
"Grace, come on! We're going to br late!" My mum called.
"Coming!" I yelled back, switching the lights off in my room and rushing down the stairs.
Arriving at the big white church, I walked in, greeting everyone with hugs. My church family were like my second family. Thankfully, no one noticed the tattoo I recently got.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome on this lovely Sunday morning." My father spoke into the microphone by the podeum. I took my seat beside my mum in the front row.
Throughtout the lesson, my father preached and I joined the choir while we praised God. I missed it so much while I was gone.
When church was over, my family and I went back to our house. We were currently sitting in the living room, watching The Bible on our flat screen tv. I had my legs up to my chest and my arms hugging them, staring intently at the screen.
"Grace." My father said.
"Yes." I said, my eyes not leaving the screen.
"What's that on your wrist?" He asked me, pointing to the black ink on my wrist. Shit.
"Oh, uh..." I started, "i..it's nothing." I lied.
My dad sighed, "Grace, don't lie to me." He said, kinda agitated.
I rolled my eyes and sighed, "Fine, it's a tattoo." I said, finally looking at him.
"Why? Did Zayn have something to do with it?"
There he was, accusing Zayn for every wrong decision I make. "No!" I snapped, finally getting sick of it. "It was my idea to get a tattoo. Zayn, he was trying to talk me out of it." I told him. "He's not a bad person."
My dad stayed quiet and I rolled my eyes, standing up. "I'm going to Eleanor's. I'll probably stay all night. Don't worry about me." I said, grabbing my purse and walking out the door to my car.
I screamed out in frustration as soon as the car door was shut. I took a deep breath and started the engine. My phone was going off so I answered it, "Hello?" I said, kinda harshly.
"Wow, someone's in a bad mood." Eleanor joked.
"Sorry." I apologized, "I'm just a little aggravated right now." I said as I backed out of the driveway.
"So, do you want to come over? I can invite Dani and we can go to Starbucks?" She said.
"Can we not invite Danielle, please?" I asked her. Eleanor stayed quiet, waiting for me to go on. I sighed, "I'm still mad at her for the way she acted towards me at the club. I don't want to see her right now."
"Yeah, of course." She said, after hearing everything. "I think she has dance class anyways."
I smiled, "Thank you. But, I am on my way, love." I said, staring straight ahead as I stopped at a stoplight.
She laughed, "Alright, see you soon!" She said, cheerfully.
"Bye!" Eleanor and I said at the same time.
