Honestly, I think I was on crack writing this. I have been listening to many audiobooks.

No memes today, I found some but they're too dark even for my messed-up mind, so just enjoy the playlist instead.

"Y/N, you're here!" Gaby runs up and I crouch down and hug her tight, smiling. It's been a week since I have seen her. I got used to always being around the sassy little girl.

I've missed them both.

I'm not sure how much she knows or what Miguel has told her, but I know she knows something big happened by how it all went down.

She was close to my dad. They had a strong bond, and it makes me sad that she won't be around him either. And, I can't help but feel that it's my fault because.

It is your fault.

Gee, thanks...

"Hi Gabs, how have you been?" I ask.

She pulls away and smiles from cheek to cheek, showing me her missing two front teeth. "Good, come and see my room!" Before I could reply, we sprinted off, her hand clutched to mine.

The door swings open.

Oh my...

"Do you like it?"

I nodded, my jaw dropped, still in shock as I had found myself in a jungle.

So, I guess she's over the Powerpuff Girls' phase.

"Very cool, Gaby," I say as she giggles. "Thanks. I had my dad take me to four different stores."

I let out a small laugh. The girl knows how to get what she wants.

"Yeah... she did, apparently there's seven different shades of gray." Miguel pulls up beside us, frowning.

The last time I heard it was fifty... get it? I got into Harvard somehow...

"Well, it was worth the fuss. It looks good. You did a good job, Dad." I said, complimenting him. He's a good father and I know what my dad said hurt Miguel and I don't want him to think the worse.

He's made mistakes, I know... but he's not a terrible father. He loves Gaby immensely. He loves her as much as my dad loves me.

Or at least I hope he still does.
