Act One, Scene Three

(Inthe headquarters. The gang's sitting around the table. The ones who didn't know about ALLIE gets filled in.)

MIKE:

Wait a minute. What was a Blooder doing here?

SUSSIE:

We don't know. All we know about her is what we just told you.

LEON:

She never told you guys who she was?

PETER:

She just said "them". As if we're supposed to know who she was referring to.

DIANE:

We HAVE to tell them what happened to her.

TIFFY:

They'll just think we're lying to save our asses.

SUSSIE:

Allie sounded like she knew they'll believe us, Tiffy.

TIFFY:

Just because she thought they'll understand doesn't mean they will.

SUSSIE:

So what are we supposed to do then? Twiddle our thumbs until they find out on their own?

TIFFY:

We won't be twiddling our thumbs. We'll be too busy killing zombies.

SUSSIE:

You can't make a joke out of this ev-

(Groans are heard from outside of the headquarters, followed by wood crunching. The DARK SILENCERS gets ready for the horde. Nightcore "Resist and Bite" starts playing.)

SUSSIE:

War is coming swiftly
The border is closing in
We're a little gang of soldiers
Mere 40 rifles strong

ALL:

All alone
Stand alone

(Zombies enter and start attacking.)

PETER:

Our HQ ground is burning
And Sussie is at hand
As the zombies' pushing harder
The war is all around!
All around
Hold your ground!
Fight for 18 days of battles
No odds are on our side
Few will fight for all until the bullets are gone

TIFFY AND MIKE:

We!
We will resist and bite!
Bite hard
Cause we are all in sight
We!
We take up arms and fight!
Fight hard!
Resist and do what's right!

(LEON grabs zombie from behind and strangles it with the barbed wire.)

LEON:

No matter our fighting
The numbers will still count
We're outgunned and few in numbers
We're doomed to flag or fail

ALL:

We fight hard
Hold our guard

LEON:

But when captured by the Axis
and forced to tell the truth
We will tell them with a smile
We'll surprise them with the laugh
We are all
We were all
We were told to hold the border
And that is what we did
honoured by our orders
In despite of our foe

TIFFY AND MIKE:

We!
We will resist and bite!

DIANE:

The zombies closing in

(In the instrumental part, DARK SILENCERS at the same time kill off the majority.)

TIFFY AND MIKE:

(As the song ends, the rest of the zombies are killed. Everyone breathes a sigh of relief.)

LEON:

Well, that was a little fun.

PETER:

It was.

TIFFY:

(to SUSSIE) What were you saying?

SUSSIE:

That's not important. I don't think it's safe to be here anymore.

TIFFY:

We'll survive. We always do.

LEON:

Sussie has a point. Last time I checked, there weren't this many zombies.

TIFFY:

Fine. We'll pack what we need and go find a different location to set up shop.

(Fade out)
