We were getting ready for tip off doing our normal huddle and going over our game plan. These past 2 weeks I haven't felt good at all. Like almost every morning I wake up nauseous and end up throwing up, I think it might just be a really bad cold or stomach virus nothing to serious I hope. Being injured on top of being sick definitely isn't fun at all, but just gotta thug it out I guess. "You ok baby?" A'ja whispered into my ear over the loud arena. "Yeah i'm good A don't worry about me just go do your thing" I said smiling at her. "Ok I love you" she said doing our handshake, "I love you more" I said back as she walked off onto the court.
Ever since I broke my foot its been bitter sweet not being able to walk on the court and give A'ja her pre game confidence booster. I'm so used to being able to be on the court and play with all my teammates and hype them up on the court, but now I have to hype them up on the bench. It's definitely a drastic change but at least it isn't permanent.
We were now half way into the 3rd quarter and I started feeling very hot and nauseous. I was feeling the exact same way I do in the morning, I could feel the throw up trying to come up and I knew at any moment is was going to come up. I used my little cart and rolled behind the bench and told Natalie I was going back to the locker room because I wasn't feeling well. I used my right leg to quickly speed down the tunnel towards our locker room. When I got to the locker room I hobbled to the bathroom and released all the contents in my stomach out in the toilet. "Ugh oh my gosh what is up with me bruh" I said as I wiped my mouth. "I-I think I gotta get a test..." I said lowly to myself.

I waited impatiently as I watched the test take it's slow time to show the results. Finally after 2 long minutes of my life my timer finally went off. I took a deep breath before gaining the courage and flipping the test. I loudly gasped with my eyes wide as my hands trembled seeing the positive sign on the test. "I-I'm pregnant oh my gosh" I said crying holding the test. "Baby you okay why it sound like your crying?" I heard A'ja say as she walked into our bathroom. I couldn't muster up any words to let out of my mouth, the only thing I could do was point.
A'ja picked up the test staring at it as a tear rolled down her face. "Your pregnant?" she asked me with a shaky voice, "yes, i'm so sorry baby" I said apologetic. "No no no love there's nothing to be sorry about i'm actually so excited! We're going to be moms!" she said comforting me. I hugged her tightly as I cried into her neck. "We're going to be just fine baby, this baby is going to be the most loved person in the world" she said rubbing her hand across my stomach. "I can't believe i'm actually pregnant and injured at the same time" I said wiping my face laughing.
"That is very strange but hey your gonna get through it because your such a strong person and plus you have me here to support you" A'ja said making me smile. "Ugh I love you so much" I gushed pecking her lips. "I love you more baby, now come and lay down mama's baby needs some rest" she said talking to my stomach. I smiled as I admired A'ja thinking about how great of a mom she is going to be.

"Jia you wanna take a picture with mama?" I asked my 10 month old daughter. She smiled up at me clapping which is what I assumed was her saying yes. "Look A'jia pose for the camera" I said pointing to the camera man. She stuck up the piece sign and did the duck lips showing off her whole personality. I laughed as I watched her continue to pose and take pictures. This little girl has so much personality she has no idea what to do with it, but she is definitely my child. "C'mon A'jia it's time for you to meet all of your crazy aunties" I said bracing myself for all the questions I was bombarded with.

"Good afternoon wonderful people I have a special guest!" I yelled out as I walked into the locker room. "Hey A whose kid is this? This your niece or something?" Chelsea said waving at Ajia. "Uhm well as you guys know y/n hasn't been around a lot until recently is because she had our daughter A'jia" I said making the entire locker room go silent. "You for real girl?" Sydney asked shocked along with everyone else. "Mhm" was the only thing I could muster out as I felt my emotions start to well up. "Oh my babyyy" Kelsey said breaking the silence giving me a hug. "How you guys keep this from us for so long?" AC asked crying along with me.
"We just wanted to keep it between us and our family so we could just enjoy the 3 of us while we could" I said wiping my tears. "She looks just like Y/n, did your genes even try to fight A'ja?" KB joked making everyone laugh. "Oh shut up at least my personality was able to come through" I said rolling my eyes. "Yeah yeah, anyways how is my little niece?" Chelsea said picking up A'jia and walking away with her. "Ain't even ask but what ever" I said laughing under my breath. "Any of you guys know where my wife at?" I asked. "She's in media right now but she should be out soon for shoot around" Jackie said walking past me.
"Jia you ready to see me and mommy play basketball?" I asked holding her in my arms. "Mommy?" she asked pointing towards y/n who was in the huddle with the rest of the team. "Yeah your gonna watch mommy, you gotta stay here with nana and grandpa ok?" I asked handing her over to my mom. "Y/n!" I called out to her catching her attention. "I love you my baby I'll see you in a little bit" I said kissing her cheek. "Mommy loves you my pretty baby girl, can mommy have besos?" Y/n asked giving her a kiss and tickling her, letting out her adorable laugh. "We'll come see you guys after the game love you" I said as we all shared hugs.
"You ready for your comeback baby?" I asked y/n, "been waiting on this moment for so long" she said smirking. We did our handshake kissing our pinkies at the end. "Let's go whoop some ass" I said making her laugh.
