Dabi's POV:

Why did I had to get scolded? It was not as if I did something wrong. I went to that fucking lesson at school... they even threw me into a different course where I didn't really had any interest into what course and everything. Oh well didn't really matter. It sucked... but I didn't cause any fucking havoc. Not like that oversized kitten. I mean I could see him basically walk to the staircase and knew what was going on.

However when I got "home" I had Shoto, just kept nagging and telling me my flames are like his brothers. No shit Sherlock. I am his brother but I haven't told him that yet. Anyways, I am pretty sure they know I am their son and he knows I am his brother but I never actualy called him brother and he started teasing me.

That was how things went.... until mother came in and now we were both sitting right there with our hands raised all alone in a room. Why we were still sticking with the punishment? I have no idea but we are sticking with it. It felt wrong to not do what mom said. I don't know why.... it's been a while that I've seen her and she can be freaking scary when she is angry. She is worse than my father, an actual hero who can fight villains like me.

Shoto: .... so... you confess or not?

Me: You wanna give it up or not?

Shoto: Why should I? Do you even know how much I missed you?!

Me: Me? Why would you miss a brother who you didn't even talked too?!

Shoto: So you are my brother.

Me: Fuck... I said I am not.

Shoto: But only you would know that if you are my brother.

Me: Fine, I am your brother, are you happy now?

Shoto: .... yes... and... I missed you.

Me: Why?

Shoto: Why not?

Me: You ran from me when we were little.

Shoto: And I always hid and watched you train as well.

Me: I do remember that.

Shoto: You know... I was looking up to you soo much that I wanted to be a hero and do better just because of you!

Me: What?

Shoto: I thought you knew.

Me: How was I supposed to know that?

Shoto: Well...... I.... You are right... I am sorry, I shouldn't have hid from you but I was embarrassed. I didn't wanted to do something ridiculous in front of you.....

Me: What?... You serious?

Shoto: Yeah... stupid... I know... I was just... shy I guess....

Me: You were 6 or 7 when I last saw you.

Shoto: Been a while but I am glad you are back.

Me: Who said that?

Shoto: Pfff.... big brother..... You didn't realise it yet?

Me: Huh?

Shoto: You and him... you both look relieved when you got caught.

Me: WHAT?!

Shoto: You were more than him. I mean.. you were so obvious when you came in. It was like you knew where things were before anyone told you.

Me: Oh for fucks sake.....

Shoto: Also.... dad never gave up looking for you.

Me: Why would he- I faked my death. I left a body behind. Why in the world would he continue to look for me?

Shoto: We are a family. Do you need more?

Me: Hah.....

Shoto: Can I ask you something?

Me: Shoot....you have one question.

Shoto: Is Izuku's mate, Hitoshi?

Me: ...... that is not my position to tell you.

Shoto: Why not?

Me: Do you want to get up shredded to pieces? Or did you ever experience a tiger bite? His teeth are damn sharp. Don't underestimate him. He never really showed anyone what he is capable of doing once he let go of his sanity.... 

Shoto: And you know about it?

Me: No, I've seen him tear up literal monsters before. Trust me... you and every hero in the world, ain't seen shit.

Shoto: ..... wow......

Me: Also don't get on his nerve.. I don't want to lose a fan like you.

Shoto: Hmpf! Seems like you are proud to be back.

Me: Who said that?

Shoto: Oh nothing... and no one.... 

Me: Good.

We bith staid like this for a couple more hours but the whole air inside this room felt different now. I couldn't stop smiling and I could tell Shoto couldn't as well. Yeah... I missed him more than anyone in this family. He was the youngest and the one with the most potentials. I hated him for that. I hated my father who was fixated on Shoto after his quirk showed up.... but I was more scared to be discarted that I ran away from the family on my own before that would happen. I was sure I would have lost myself in that situation.
