A.N: I'm not happy with the writing of this chapter, but atleast I finally finished it.
Marjorie was sat in her office staring at her text messages, part of her felt infuriated that both Autumn and Winter had called in sick on the same day... especially after the Gala last night.
"Uhh Marjorie." An unfamiliar voice asked from the doorway.
"Yes?" Marjorie replied trying to mask her frustration.
"I got notified that my daughter Jaime injured herself?" The concerned parent asked as Marjorie shot her a concerned look.
"Right yes, Jodie accidentally logged in the wrong Jaime as having an injury. " The parent let out a sigh of relief as she left the room.
Marjorie just felt exhausted, and much to her disappointment she had to go to her family's for tea. Which always ended in them comparing her to her cousins who were already married or in long term relationships while she was still single.
Part of Marjorie felt relieved that Autumn was off 'sick' as it meant she didn't have to leave to see her parents as early.

Earlier in the day:
Autumn had yet again missed another night's sleep for the 3rd night in a row. She glanced to her left to see that Winter was still fast asleep next to her. Part of her felt happy that this was what her life had changed to, that she was falling in love with someone. That Autumn Knight the person thought of to have no emotions, no humanity was falling inlove. She picked up her phone noticing how it was 6am, and she still felt tired yet unable to sleep. "Guess I'm getting up then..."
As soon as Autumn got to the bottom of the stairs she quickly reached for the light switch. Much like she expected it was still pitch black outside.
Autumn sat on her living room couch feeling completely exhausted, but part of her knew it was not a good idea to go into work today. As she unlocked her phone she wondered if she really should call in sick, knowing how strained the staff were.
But her head ached from her over exhausting herself making her realise that it would be safer for her own health if she just taken the day off.
As she phoned Marjorie she let out a sigh of relief once Marjorie answered the phone.
"Autumn, How can I help you?"
"Sorry Marjorie but I can't come into work today. " Autumn began to explain through the phone. "I'm just coming down with some cold."
"Oh that's okay Autumn, hope you're better soon."
Autumn hung up her phone and reached for her tv remote, just putting on the live tv as she rested her head against the back of the couch.

As the rising sun began to light up Autumn's room, Winter groaned as he rolled over in his bed. Or what he thought was his bed. When something crossed his mind. Wait... I came home with Autumn.
He quickly opened his eyes revealing the room that still felt in a way unfamiliar to him. As he glanced over to what he assumed would be Autumn's side of the bed he guessed that she must have already gotten up. Glancing to the clock he noticed how it was now 7am. "Lovely, I am going to be late." He muttered to himself as he got into yesterday's clothes.
He quietly walked through the hallway and down the stairs trying not to startle Autumn. He felt in awe over how nicely decorated her house was, after not getting the chance to see it yesterday. Once he gotten to the bottom of the stairs he heard the faint sound of the tv.
As soon as he stepped into the living room Autumn suddenly shot up with a look of terror across her face. "Sorry, did I wake you?" Winter asked, concerned at why she looked so terrified.
"It's okay I'm just a very light sleeper..." Autumn replied, relieved that Winter was not the kind of person to ask too many questions. Relieved that she wouldn't have to bring up the years of abuse her father put her and her brother through.
Winter sat down next to her on her two seater couch as they both tried to watch the telly. But he noticed how Aut kept almost drifting off to sleep but stopping herself. "Autumn, I'm sorry to ask this. But are you okay?"
"Yes, just didn't get much sleep..."
"How much sleep did you get?"
"I didn't exactly get any." Autumn quietly replied, as Winter shot her a concerned look.
"What?"
"I struggle to sleep around people..." Autumn began as her voice got increasingly more quiet. "That I'm not used to sleeping near..."
"Oh. " Winter replied as he felt terrible for her, but he was reminded of something... her dad. "Oh. Autumn remember I'll never do anything to hurt you."

As Marjorie drove throughout the streets towards where her parents lived. She couldn't help but worry about all the criticism her parents were going to give her: despite the fact that she's manager of a nursery... It would never be enough.
She stopped in their driver way, giving herself a moment to compose herself. It will be okay Marjorie.
She quickly got out the car after she realised that the longer she stayed in the car, the more anxious she would get.
"Marjorie!!" She heard a voice exclaim from the door.
"Hi mum...."
