Chapter 13

No one's POV

Ever since the demon was eradicated, Jungkook was not like himself. He missed his hubby so much. Never once spoke to anyone in his family, which made them worried about him, but they didn't know how to bring the bubbly Jungkook back after all that had happened to him. He used to cry to sleep everyday, wearing only his hubby's shirt which had his scent on it, just so he could get a wink of sleep, thinking his hubby was cuddling him, even when he knew his hubby wasn't with him physically.

Days passed by. Jungkook had somehow accepted that his hubby had left him without their memories. But he knew someday they would live their life happily together and build their own little family.

He started conversing with his family again, which brought them happy tears. He wanted his hubby to know what happened to him in the days they were apart, so he started writing diary everyday.

One day, he wanted to talk to his parents about a serious matter.

Kook : Appa, amma ( father, mother in Tamil ). I need to discuss something important with you guys.

Mr Shiva : What is it Kookie?

Kook : Appa, I'm thinking of going for internships from home to earn for myself.

Mrs Shiva : Why dear? Appa is earning for all of us, right?

Kook : I know amma. I want some distraction. If I sit idle, I keep thinking about hubby and it hurts me so much. 

Mrs Shiva : *hugs him while crying* My baby is going through so much in this small age. God, why is all this happening to my child!!

Kook : Appa, there is one more thing I wanted to tell you.

Mr Shiva : You can tell us anything, baby. We'll support you no matter what.

Kook : Thank you appa. Appa amma, I want to go to Seoul after I graduate from college. 

Mrs Shiva : But-

Mr Shiva : Sure you can, Kookie. I'll make sure you are stable there financially.

Kook : It's ok appa. I hope the money I earn with the internships will help me go there. I want to settle there with a job. Even if I can't be with hubby, I just want to have a glimpse of him from far away, for me to be happy that my hubby is happy, even when he m-marries s-some-one else *sobbing*

Both his parents sobbed while hugging him. Though his mother didn't like the idea of her son being there alone, she knew that this was the only way that her son would have a peace of mind.

Since then Kook started working in 2-3 internships with the skills he developed in college. His professors felt very proud of him that he is gaining a lot of professional knowledge while studying, but they never knew how much their favourite student was suffering in his personal life without his other half.

Though he said to his parents that he wanted to do internship as a distraction and to be stable financially to survive in Seoul, the main reason was different. He loved the cologne his hubby would wear on himself so much, which was costly. He wanted to buy that cologne with his hard-earned money and spray it on himself to be always surrounded by his favourite scent.
