🥞Akito's POV: 🥞

(The next day)
I was walking home from school as I saw a familiar black/blue haired girl walking past me. She looked back at me. "Hi!" It was An. "Oh, hey." I waved. "So, since I'm already here, wanna walk home with me?" An asked. "Sure." I replied. As we walked and talked.
I began to hear a meow in the distance as we walked past an alley. An seemed to notice too, because she stopped walking. "What the hell...?" An whispered. "Wait... I think it's a cat or something." I said. I motioned for her to follow me in the alley.

"Uhh, you can go ahead. I'll just wait here." An stammered. "Don't be a wimp, it's just a cat." I laughed. I reached my hand out and she took it. We walked through the alley. I listened closely. The meowing was coming from behind a dumpster. "It's coming from behind the dumpster," I gestured. I peered behind the dumpster, it was a little kitten with a soda can stuck on its head. "Oh!," An pointed to the cat. "Poor little thing.. it has a soda can stuck on its head." A moved forward and carefully lifted the can off of the kitten. The kitten had blue eyes and white fur, (though you could barely tell it was white since the fur was so dirty). "Aww! It's so cute, we should take it." An said. "Hmm. Sure, let's take it to my place to get it cleaned up." I nodded. "Wait, we don't have any cat food or anything like that.. We should go to the store to get something." An brought up. "Oh yeah.. let's go to the store and grab some food and stuff for it." I agreed. We walked to a shop nearby and got some food, toys, and other stuff for the cat, then we went to my house. I opened the door we went to the bathroom, and put the cat in the bathtub to wash it off. "Should we adopt it?" An asked. "Hmmm, I think that would be nice." I nodded.

We washed off the cat and then fed it. "What's a good cat name?" I asked. "Well, I have an idea, what about Ivory?" An asked. "Ivory," I repeated. "That's a good name, I like it." I replied. "I just realized something," An began. "I don't think we've ever hung out like this, just us." "Oh." I realized. "I like spending time with you." I spoke. "I like spending time with you, too." An smiled at me. We hung out the rest of the evening.
