( A/N: this is my first time writing a fanfic so please let me know what i should improve! btw, when the words are italicized that means they are thinking in their minds ^_^ CHARACTERS ARE NOT MINE )
— late in the afternoon —
"finally! my feet hurt from all that walking!.." nami exclaims while boarding the Thousand Sunny. Nami then walks over to the girls room and sees the room in shambles.
"AAAA!" nami yells as she sees her very expensive dress torn apart on the floor. Everyone quickly rushes to nami and gasps at the sight.
"OW! this room is SUPER messy and broken" franky says while walking into the room, inspecting it.
"looks like i'll have to rebuild some stuff in this room, like the floorboard" messy says after inspecting it for a while, "you two-" franky says and starts pointing to robin and nami (who is currently on her knees) "-will have to sleep in another room."
"okay, can anyone let me sleep in their room?" robin asks and turns around to face sanji, brooke, and zoro.
"YOU CAN SLEEP WITH ME!" sanji and brooke both yells. after hearing about how their synced, they start fighting about who robin should sleep with.
"you can sleep with me..." zoro quietly tells robin so nor brooke or sanji would hear. zoro then turns around and walks off to his room. robin smiles and catches up to zoro.
— a few hours later —
"im gonna head to bed~" nami tiredly announces and yawns. everyone agrees and heads off to bed, except ussop (who is gaurding).
nami walks into luffys room and turns on the light and sees someone laying in his bed.
"luffy! what are you doing here!" nami shouts but in a hushed voice. nami closes the door and walks towards the bed where luffy is sleeping.
"oh yea....i forgot..." luffy responds in a drowsy, husky voice without opening his eyes. luffy then stretches one of his arm out and expects nami to lay down and sleep with him.
"ehhh?! BAKA! im not gonna sleep with you..!" nami yells and starts hitting luffy. luffy finally opens his eyes and sits up.
"namiii...im so tired" luffy says in a tired voice while rubbing the big bump on his head.
'what could i do to sleep again' luffy thinks, after thinking of a idea, luffy grabs nami by the waist and then flops down onto the bed. nami, who is very shocked at this gesture, starts blushing uncontrollably.
"l-luffy! what are you doing.." nami yelps out. luffy pulls the blanket over them and then returns to hugging nami's waist.
"let's just go to bed" luffy responds quietly. nami then decides to just deal with this for one night.
'i guess one night won't be that bad...' nami thinks before dozing off.
— morning —
nami wakes up to luffy looking over her laughing.
"huh, what happened" nami asks luffy snd sits up. luffy looks at her confused.
"what do you mean? you were hugging me all night last night" luffy responds "shishishi! you are really cute nami, you know that?" luffy adds. nami stares at him in shock.
"i am cute but hearing it from luffy?!" nami's face starts turning red and hot "no, i cant have feelings for my own captain! it was just one night anyway.." nami reassures herself.
she looks back at luffy who is getting up from the bed, nami starts analyzing luffy since she havent saw him shirtless in 2 years (A/N: this is the time skip)
"namiii" luffy sings out. "what are you thinking about?". nami notices that shes been staring too long and needs to make up an excuse.
"nothing! just a bit fazed from uhh.." nami replys in a reassuring voice. luffy looks confused but shrugs it off and starts to head outside.
"wait!" nami yells out, luffy turns around and looks at nami, "uhm..you should wear a shirt" nami says under her breath.
"what was that nami?" luffy asks and tilts his head to the side. nami quickly looks up at luffy and gets up from the bed and walks over to luffy.
"shishishi, do you want a hug nami?" luffy asks nami, before she can respond, luffy stretches his arms and pulls nami in for a hug.
"his abs are so hard and-" nami looks up at him "he also looks hot from his angle".
"nami? do you not want a hug?", nami snaps back to reality and quickly gets out of luffys grasp and runs out of the room. she holds her hands over her heart and notices how fast her heart beat is.
"chopper! can you come here and check if my heartbeat is okay?" nami yells out to chopper.
"okay nami!" chopper comes running with his stethoscope.
"this is weird..i never felt this feeling before" nami thinks while chopper is checking her heart beat.
luffy then walks out of the room with a tight shirt on that reveals his chiseled abs. (A/N: thinking of this makes me excited)
"oh, hey nami!" luffy says after noticing nami. although, nami doesnt notice him talking to her and instead stares at his abs.
"ah! nami your heart beat is going very fast!!" chopper yells out.
"doctor! doctor! we need to call a doctor!!" chopper starts yelling, "oh wait, i am the doctor".
