"OII! i see a island!!" luffy called out.
'he looks so cute when he's excited' nami smiles, 'WAIT! what am i doing! thinking about my own captain..' nami snaps back to reality
"hmmm.." luffy mutters under his breath
"are you okay luffy?" chopper yelled to luffy since he's been oddly quiet.
"it's just that...this island seems to have 4 types of weather in the same place" luffy finally concludes and turns around to face the others.
everyone, even robin, got taking back by shock and stared at luffy who never, EVER, makes these types of observations. the entire crew just stays quiet staring at luffy until sanji finally breaks the silence.
"soo, who should go on that island?" sanji announces at last.
"i think nami and luffy should go" robin evil-ly says with a smirk on her face.
"eh! w-why do you think that robin!" nami yells at robin and try's to get robin on her side.
"well, since you have plenty of knowledge on weather, you would atleast be one of the people that goes, and since luffy is basically immune to lighting-" robin pauses and points at the island which is blasting with lighting and thunder, "-he would be perfect to go as well" robin finishes off.
"well..! what about me! how would i protect myself" nami shoots back.
"i could cover you nami" luffy calls out laying on the sunny's head (somehow).
nami grumbles and walks towards luffy pouting. robin starts giggling and everyone starts laughing one after another.
"s-SHUT UP!" nami shouts with fire behind her head.
everyone instantly shuts up and pretend they never starts laughing in the first place.
"damn witch, think you can control me" zoro whispers under his breath
ussop starts praying along with chopper who's making a paper grave stone with zoro on it. everyone else starts to act abnormal
"hm? why is everyone quiet-" zoro stops abruptly and sees a black shadow in front of him.
"WITCH?!" nami or a very scary demon, at last screams out.
"wait! i didn't mean to say tha-" zoro stutters before nami starts to raise her fist.
— once their decently close to the island —
"zoro! zoro!!" chopper calls out.
"shh! the devil might hear you again" ussop says very quietly (to the point where no one can hear him)
"zoro! are you dead!!" chopper gulps and calls out at last.
"im battling death myself....." zoro finally manages to whisper out.
chopper lets out a big breath that he's been holding in.
"yoshh, let's go nami" luffy calls to nami in a sorrow tone
"oh uh, yeah im coming!" nami calls back after grabbing her clima-tact
'hm...luffys acting weird and no one's saying anything...' nami wonders while running to luffy
"grab onto my hand nami" luffy says to nami in a serious tone.
"sure.." nami reluctantly says and grabs on to his hand.
'i wonder why he's so serious all of a sudden..' nami wonders before luffy pulls nami towards his chest and jumps onto the island.
"see you later!" ussop and chopper called out before noticed something was off.
"guys...why do i feel like th ship is moving" ussop slowly says
sanji quickly runs to the deck where his facial expression turns into pure terror.
"THERES A TORNADO COMING TOWARDS US" sanji yelled out to the crew and then turns to nami in luffys arms and trying to call out to them but they're already to far into the island to hear them. the tornado suddenly pushes the entire ship so far and high in the air, it seems as if the ship is flying! (or it looks like the coup de vent except its pushing them backwards)
"LUFFY! the ship!! it's flying away!" nami notices at last and yells at luffy.
"huh?!" luffy yells and turns around to see their ship missing.
"gosh! now where will we sleep?!" nami yells out in anger
"i see a town down there!" luffy reassures nami and starts running towards it.
— after renting a room + exploring the town —
'sighs', "i can't believe how expensive these rooms are! it's not even pretty enough to cost this much!" nami flops onto the bed pouting.
"nami?" luffy finally says.
"hm?" nami calls back, not focusing her attention towards him.
"do you..like sanji?" luffy finally says quietly.
"oh? oh yeah, sanji is a good friend even though he's a idiot" nami responds back not knowing the context of luffys question.
"no...i meant if you like LIKE him." luffy says in a annoyed tone (which he usually never uses towards his crew)
"eehh?!" nami quickly gets up from the big bed and stares at a solemn luffy.
'sighs', "no luffy, don't worry" nami says trying to reassure luffy.
luffys face brightens up a little and stands up. he takes off his shirt which reveals a nicely built bod (aka, body). he turns around and gives nami his silly smile that she must smile back to. he lays down on the bed and a huge lighting bolt hits their room.
"eek!" nami jumps and jumps on top of luffy.
"shishishi! you'll be fine nami! as long as im here" luffy patty's nami on the back and holds her tight towards his chest.
'hm..maybe this is what i've been worried about all day...sleeping without him would seems like a stupid idea' nami thinks and snuggles up close to luffy.
'hmm..nami seems down today...maybe i can cheer her up!' luffy thinks at last.
he then pulls nami up towards his face and gives her a soft kiss on her forehead. nami, taken aback by this, starts breathing heavily, as if she doesn't have enough air for her lungs. she sees luffy smile and decides to brush off the kiss he just gave her.
"nami..are you not gonna kiss me back?" luffy pouts after a long silence. nami eyes shoot open and starts wondering if she should give him a REAL kiss.
'i should just do it! it'll confirm wether i love him or not!.' nami decides at last. she pulls herself up and looks at luffys confused face, nami feels the heat from luffys face, just inches away. as she moves on top of luffy and puts her arms around his head, she starts pulling herself in for a kiss UNTIL another big round of thunder shake them off eachother. nami and luffy then notice what they were about to do and quickly turn around, making them sleep back to back.
'stupid thunder' luffy thought before dozing off without nami in his arms
