Before Chase and Skye ever got together, Marshall did all he could to impress him. He tried stunts, trying to be less clumsy, acting more brave...but nothing seemed to work. He even got over his fear of heights to impress him, but nothing seemed to work. Marshall eventually gave up, but it turned out that bettering himself got Everest's attention. And now, she was all over him. It had been a week, and Marshall soon noticed that Chase was bettering himself too. He tried a bunch of new things, and he even got over his fear too.
Probably to impress Skye....Marshall thought.
But he was wrong. So one day, when he felt a paw land on his shoulder, he turned around, expecting to see Everest.
But it was Chase, and he smiled.
"You can stop trying to impress me now, because there's nothing you could ever do that wouldn't impress me."
