Dramatic isn't enough to describe Jeon Jungkook.

He has all of the bed covered in shirts, pants, and the room has shoes all over the floor. Hoseok is knocking his face against the wall and a bruise is sure to form on it. Jungkook is choosing what type of makeup colour to do, because by now, he should be fucking ready.

"Just choose a shirt!" Jungkook yells at him.

"I've given you a total of fifteen shirts, you fucking asshole!" Hoseok groans. "You haven't liked any of these so what the hell do you want me to do?!"

Jungkook carefully taps the pink eyeshadow on his skin. He then blinks at Hoseok. "Don't look at me like that." He says.

Hoseok huffs and opens the wardrobe again. "You're at the beach, for fucks sake. I bet my ass Taehyung will arrive with an expensive button up and knee length shorts." Hoseok takes a tank top, then a Hawaiian shirt. "Use this."

Jungkook makes a face, but at the sigh of his best friend glaring, he finally agrees.

Fifteen minutes later, Jungkook is rushing out the house and taking his bike to arrive at the beach. Taehyung had texted him, asking where he was, and all Jungkook could come up with was that Hoseok got diarrhea and he had to help him unclog the toilet.

Sorry, Hobi.

The boy throws the bike somewhere on the sand, not caring enough to lock it against the bike bars. He rushes to the bar hut and sees Taehyung sitting alone at a table. He checks his watch, then rests his cheek against his hand, sighing.

Jungkook takes a deep breath. Be cool, fucker. Don't overthink.

He's about to walk in, but one of the workers stops him, asking for his age and identification. Jungkook hufs with red cheeks and takes out his ID. He hates being this age and not having people believe him.

He blames the baby fat on his cheeks.

"Hi." He greets Taehyung, making him jump.

"Hey!" he stands up and places a hand on his hip, pulling him for a kiss. The kiss lands on his cheek, though, and before Jungkook can try to peck his mouth, Taehyung is sitting down again.

Don't overthink.

"I'm sorry I'm late." He feels nervous, and it must be evident with the way he scratches his arm. "I couldn't find anything nice to wear."

"Didn't you say Hoseok got—"

"I lied." The two giggle into their hands, shoulders jumping. "I'm sorry, though."

"No need to apologise." Taehyung smiles kindly. He raises his hand and calls over a waiter, allowing Jungkook to order his drink first. He orders the most basic thing ever, and to be fair, he doesn't even know what it is.

While Taehyung orders, he takes the time to run his eyes over Taehyung. His smile is wide, and his hair is still wet, but so neatly brushes back, exposing those beautiful and strong eyebrows.

Jungkook tilts his head, playing with the rings on his fingers as a soft, closed smile appears on his lips. His tummy becomes fuzzy, and as soon as the waiter leaves, he runs his hand on the table, tapping his fingers on it.

His eyes fall on the necklace that always seems to gain his attention. He reaches for it, leaning over the table just a bit.

"I love your necklace." Jungkook says, then lets go and sits back. "It looks nice."

Taehyung smiles and takes a hold of it. "It is, right? It's my favourite." He moves it around his fingers, then proudly shows it off to the younger. Jungkook isn't staring at the jewel anymore, his eyes too focused on the delicate looks of Taehyung's features
