"Your daughter left to visit her grandparents so your first idea is to bring me to Six Flags Magic Mountain?" Jungkook asks while Taehyung places a batman hat over his hair. He tilts his head, thinking if it is the right one, and then removes it to try a different superhero.

"Yes."

"Kim Taehyung, you are a child," Jungkook whispers with a smile. "And I love you for that."

"Love you too," Taehyung replies. "We should get you one of those shirts that have abs drawn on them."

"I don't need an ab shirt when I already have them, dummy."

Taehyung walks over to the rack and pulls Jungkook with him, who holds onto his arm like his life depends on it. Jungkook wraps his arms around Taehyung's waist from behind, peeking from over his shoulder to see what he's doing.

"Those are ugly, babe," Jungkook laughs. "Please don't make me wear it."

"You're no fun." Taehyung grumbles while lifting another shirt. "You'd look so good."

"Come on, let's go to the roller coaster already."

The shirt falls back on the rack with way too much force. "Fine, fine."

They walk through the park full of joy. Taehyung talks about some random things, like which food is the best and which ride is the fastest. Jungkook listens while also looking around. He catches some people staring their way, others pointing.

"Hey, Tae?" he asks in a soft voice.

Taehyung looks over at him and leans into his ear. "Yes, lovely?" he responds and drops a kiss on his ear.

"Shouldn't you have bodyguards or whatever?"

"Have you ever seen me with bodyguards?"

"Mm, no." Jungkook shakes his head with wide eyes. "I don't think so."

"There you have your answer." Taehyung removes his hand from Jungkook's and instead holds his waist. "I don't like bodyguards. I'm rich, not famous."

What a flex that is.

"Some people recognised you," Jungkook whispers and nudges his side. "Cutie."

"Your cutie."

After a few more giggles, the two head for the first ride, then the second, and then third. Hanging out with Taehyung feels like the first summer all over again, as if holding hands is for the very first time, and every kiss feels like a whole new discovery of emotions Jungkook never truly believed he could have. It's soft, warm, and full of fondness.

With the way Taehyung giggles, Jungkook knows that there is no way this trip could become any sort of boring. He was never scared about it, of course not considering Taehyung is one of the greatest people he has ever met. Nothing ever seems to be boring with him, not even sitting down and staring at nothing could become overwhelming with the need of sleep.

On the other hand, the truth lies on being afraid over the outcome of seeing each other in person again. Even if Taehyung told him he can't wait until they meet again, Jungkook continued to carry the scary feeling of rejection. Those "what if's" that no one desires.

What if he doesn't love me anymore?

What if he found someone his age and better?

What if he realises I'm not as fun as I used to be?

It's normal, even more in a long distance relationship, which is not only divided by miles, but also hours. Jungkook is growing up and with Taehyung by his side he will learn the dos and don'ts, all of those that his mother refused to teach, his father was not there for, and his grandmother is too old to do anything but slap his bum with a sandal.
