On the third week of lessons, Jungkook is finally saving his money. His mother said she's proud he's making so much, but little does she know it's all a scam, but who gives a fuck when he has his own cash.
Besides, it's not like his mother even cares enough to see what he does with his money.
It's another normal (as if) day, where he gets in the water with Kyungmi and they try the smaller waves. The only difference today is Taehyung asked if they could have the lessons in the morning, because in the afternoon, Kyungmi's mother is coming to pick her up for a "girls day."
Until now, Jungkook still questions if Taehyung was actually married or if it was out of... a mistake? Sometimes he wants to ask, but he knows it is not his business to do so.
The air around them is different, because now Taehyung openly checks him out, sometimes even sends a wink or two. They haven't done much after their little festival encounter, besides kissing in secret or barely touching each other.
Hearing Kyungmi won't be here during the afternoon makes Jungkook happy, and yes, he's aware of how mean that sounds, but he really wants some time alone with the older lad. The whole lesson, he has been trying to send hints, but not once does Taehyung answer.
At the end, he finally decides to be straightforward.
Kyungmi is off buying another ice cream, leaving the two of them alone. Taehyung is putting on his shirt and taking off his sunglasses. Jungkook bites his bottom lip, trying to contain a smile, as he lands a hand on Taehyung's shoulders.
"So..." he begins to say. He runs a finger on the older man's ear, playing with his earlobe. Taehyung places a soft hand on Jungkook's naked waist, moving his thumb in circles. "What are you doing this afternoon? You did say Kyungmi will be busy."
He nods, looking behind him to make sure his daughter isn't coming. She's not, thank God. She's too immersed talking to Hoseok. "Yeah, she'll be off, but I already have plans."
Jungkook's smile falls. "Already? With your old friends?" he lets go of Taehyung's shoulder. He can't help but feel annoyed when things don't go his way. Sure, he's a bit bratty, but god, he has been waiting for this.
Taehyung smiles with a nod of his head. "Sure."
Kyungmi runs over to them and indulges Jungkook in a hug, saying goodbye, before pulling Taehyung away. Jungkook isn't even able to kiss him or anything. A kiss would have made the older man remember how good he is, and how he should always be his first priority.
After his daughter, of course.
Jungkook heads over to Hoseok with a frown. His best friend only laughs and gives him a free popsicle.
A few hours later, Hoseok and he find themselves on paddle boards, enjoying their free afternoon. Luckily, Hoseok's father said they could take the day off because there were new recruits.
The two are racing, seeing who can stand the longest and paddle the fastest. Obviously, Jungkook wins, because he's used to staying on a board. Hoseok can barely surf. He always falls on his face.
It's until they're halfway in the calm ocean that Jungkook sees Taehyung on his surfboard. He's sitting on it, feet in the water, straddling the red piece. He's talking to a few women and men.
"Hey, Koo, isn't that your sugar daddy?"
Jungkook rolls his eyes. "Not my daddy, dumbass. That's my dick."
Hoseok bursts out laughing and begins to paddle over to Taehyung and his friends. "Come on, let's just pass by to hear what's up." Jungkook smiles and immediately agrees.
