It was May 30th and Sam decided to RSVP that she would attend. She wasn't sure if it was because she wanted to see her sister get married to her first wife, or if she just wanted to see her sister. Who is she kidding, it's the second choice. But knowing her, she won't be able to come alone, so she was begging on her hands and knees for Kirby to come along.

"Please, I will literally pay for everything!" Sam begs as she held her hands together in front of Kirby's front door.

Kirby stood in the doorway, eyebrows raised as Sam pleaded on her doorstep. She couldn't help but find the display a little amusing - Sam Carpenter, her usually proud and stubborn best friend, reduced to begging.

"Alright, alright, calm down," Kirby chuckled, holding up a hand. "You don't have to pay for everything, Sam. I'll come with you to the wedding."

Sam's face lit up with relief and gratitude. "Oh, thank you, Kirby! You have no idea how much this means to me." She reached out and pulled her friend into a tight hug.

Kirby returned the embrace, patting Sam's back. "I know how much your sister means to you. Plus, I wouldn't want to miss the chance to see you all dolled up as a maid of honor."

Pulling back, Sam grinned. "Oh, trust me, you're going to want to bring your camera for that. I have no idea what I'm doing."

Kirby laughed. "Well, lucky for you, I happen to be an expert wedding guest. We'll have you looking and acting the part in no time."

"You're the best, Kirby," Sam said sincerely. "I owe you one."

"Consider it repayment for all the times you've had my back," Kirby replied with a wink. "Now, when do we leave for Napa?"

Sam glanced down at the wedding invitation still clutched in her hand. "The wedding is on June 20th, so I was thinking we could head up a couple days early to get settled in. Is that okay with you?"

"Sounds perfect," Kirby affirmed. "I'll start packing my things. This is going to be one wedding we'll never forget."

Kirby then paused before she went back into her house, "Does your sister happen to have any older, hot, friends?"

Sam couldn't help but chuckle at Kirby's sudden interest. "Somehow I don't think the guest list will be filled with Tara's 'hot, older friends'," she replied with a teasing grin. "This is a pretty intimate, close-knit affair."

Kirby playfully pouted. "Aw, and here I was hoping to score a hot date for the wedding." She winked at Sam. "Guess I'll just have to be the arm candy for the maid of honor instead."

Rolling her eyes, Sam lightly shoved her friend.

Tara was talking with her best friend Liv about some things for the wedding when Amber came up behind them, telling Liv to shush. Before she knew it, Amber was scaring Tara, which caused her to hit Amber.

"Ow! T!" Amber exclaimed, with a laugh.

"Oh my god! Amber, what the hell is wrong with you?" Tara breathed in and out as she looked at her fiancée, annoyed.
