Quinn was relaxing at the beach, lying on a towel, as she soaked up the sun. She was here with Ethan, Anika, and Richie, and they were definitely not in a relaxed state. They were teasing and bothering her about yesterday with Sam, which was nothing more than two strictly professional maids of honor dancing together. There was nothing wrong with that.

"If I didn't know any better, there was some tension between you and the sister of the bride yesterday," Anika said, smirking as she took a sip of her drink.

"Ugh, I'm not going over this again," Quinn groaned, adjusting her glasses. "I've already told Richie. I'm not gay or lesbian or whatever."

"That's so not true!" Ethan exclaimed, and Quinn scoffed, throwing sand at him. "Hey! Not the curls! Avoid the curls."

Quinn simply rolled her eyes. "Let's not go down that road," Richie suddenly suggested. Quinn looked at him, confused, before turning to see Sam, Kirby, and Jill walking down the beach.

Now, aside from Kirby and Jill, who were clearly showing interest in each other, Sam, the older carpenter, was wearing a floral bikini with her hair in a high ponytail. Quinn's eyes widened as she moved her sunglasses off her head.

"Hm, hey! Woo-hoo! Over here!" Richie called out, and Quinn's eyes widened further as she sat up.

Quinn's eyes widen as she sees Sam approaching, and she tries to discreetly elbow Richie in the side.

"Richie, what the hell are you doing?" she hisses under her breath.

Richie just grins impishly. "I'm just saying hi to the bride's sister, that's all. Isn't that right, Sam?"

Sam looks over at their group, eyebrows raising slightly in surprise. "Oh, hey guys. Didn't expect to see you all out here."

Anika and Ethan exchange amused glances, both of them grinning at Quinn's obvious discomfort.

"We're just enjoying the sun and surf," Anika says lightly. "Trying to get in some relaxation before the big wedding, you know?"

"Absolutely," Ethan chimes in. "Though it seems like Quinn here might have other plans."

Quinn shoots him a withering glare. "I don't know what you're talking about."

Sam glances between them, a hint of amusement playing on her lips. "Well, I'm glad you're all getting some rest. It's going to be a busy few weeks, that's for sure."

Richie leans back on his elbows, giving Sam an obvious once-over. "Yeah, I bet. You must be excited though, right? Being the maid of honor and all."

Quinn has to resist the urge to groan out loud. Of course Richie would be the one to take this in an inappropriate direction.

"Oh, hi guys!" Kirby said, moving over to them, and Jill followed.

"Hi, Jill," all of them said, and the blonde pushed her hair back as she waved.

"Hey," she grabbed one of the drinks and sat down, and Quinn looked up at Sam.

"Hi, how have you been?" the ginger asked, trying to be polite despite her embarrassment.

"Great, thanks for asking," Sam replies, her tone polite but reserved. She glances over at Kirby and Jill, who seem to be in their own little world. "Looks like you all are having a good time out here."
