It was finally the big day, and everyone gathered in the backyard of the mansion. Kirby, Jill, and Richie engaged in conversation. Kirby mustered up the courage to ask Jill out, and she gladly accepted.
"Okay, everyone, the wedding is starting," Gale announced, and the three of them proceeded to take their seats.
Amber walked down the aisle with her dad by her side. Though she didn't want to touch him, as she disliked physical contact from her parents, she felt grateful that he was present to walk her down.
When she reached the altar, she turned to her dad and quietly murmured, "Thank you, Dad."
Next, the bridesmaids and bridesmen came down. Liv walked with Chad. Liv was on Tara's side, and Chad was on Amber's side. Then, Mindy and Anika appeared. Surprisingly, Tara reached Anika first and asked her to be one of her bridesmaids, to which she accepted. Next, Ethan and Wes walked down the aisle. The blonde one resembled Tara quite a bit, which Amber couldn't stand. Lastly, Quinn walked alone.
Now, the second bride entered with her sister by her side. They decided to switch things up. Billy suggested that Sam be the one to walk Tara down the aisle while he would simply give her away. Tara really loved that idea. So now, she walked down the aisle with her sister, smiled, and handed her bouquet to Billy before embracing Sam. "I love you," Tara mumbled.
"I love you too," Sam whispered back before taking her place. Tara then took Amber's hands as they stood at the altar.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the union of Amber Freeman and Tara Carpenter in holy matrimony. Marriage is a sacred bond, a promise to walk through life together, to support one another, and to cherish each moment, from the joyous to the challenging."
Tara and Amber stood facing each other, their hands clasped tightly, eyes shining with a mix of joy and anticipation.
The officiant continued, "Amber and Tara, as you come before us today, you embark on a new chapter of your lives. You have found in each other a love that transcends the ordinary, a connection that has weathered the storms of life and emerged stronger for it."
Tara's gaze never left Amber's face, a soft smile playing on her lips. Amber, in turn, squeezed Tara's hands, her own expression radiating pure adoration.
"Marriage is a promise to love, to cherish, and to support one another through all of life's adventures. It is a commitment to build a future together, to be each other's safe harbor, each other's home."
The guests listened intently, their hearts swelling with emotion as the officiant's words painted a vivid picture of the bond the two brides shared.
"Amber and Tara, do you come here today of your own free will, to give yourselves to one another in marriage?"
"We do," the brides replied in unison, their voices filled with conviction.
"Then, in the presence of your family and friends, I ask that you each share your vows with one another."
Tara took a deep breath, her eyes locking with Amber's. "Amber, from the moment I first laid eyes on you, I knew you were someone special. You have challenged me, supported me, and loved me in ways I never thought possible. Today, I promise to continue loving you fiercely, to be your partner in all things, and to cherish every moment we share, for as long as we both shall live."
